Mad Boris is a bit of A Nutter.
Spent £Billions on messing about with Londons Transport System. From Ben Buses that could not round corners to processions of near empty Buses. charging a high hi fare if you simply need to to make a journey to the next stop paying cash.
For years, when we see live reporting in central London I notice all the empty buses crawl by...

The Cycle lanes.
Same roads, but less for vehicles.
Cyclists physically breathing deadly exhaust fumes deep down amongst idle traffic.

However, The Cycle lane could be the forerunner of a Tram System to replace the buses...

From what I've seen all he's done is turn London's roads into a money making scheme, introduce ridiculous traffic laws and threaten us with even more (15mph zones) and excuse Islamic terrorism as "just part and parcel of living in a big city."

Well according to gov statistics there are more people living in London that don't have English as their native language than do.
London is also "hailed" as the most "multi-cultural" City in the World.
In other words, London has been invaded through the back door.
Mosques are plentiful.
Even R.C Churches hold mass in Polish regularly.
It's tallest landmark was built and is owned by Arabs.
London is rather 'un-English' these days.

This is why the present Mayor suits the position.

78% have English as their native language. It is multi-cultural, that's been the case for decades. It's still English, English culture isn't static it doesn't stay the same forever it changes. English culture of the 17th Century is utterly different from that of the 20th. Things change, nobody has been invaded because an invasion is a hostile use of force against natives of the host nation.

As for it being by "the back door" this country and indeed London has a long history of recruiting people from all around the world when there is a skills shortage. Doctors for the NHS, Plumbers, Bricklayers. It's a long list.

The engineering companies that built the shard were Canadian and Australian, the architect was Italian and the property developer was British. Qatar does own 95% of it though.

It's in line with a lot of capital cities and then it depends where you are in London concerning the demographic you see. The true problem London faces is nothing to do with race but to do with building affordable places for people to live.
