Awesome. California, 1974 I think? Look at that crowd. Ontario Motor Speedway -- a venue that only lasted 10 years before it was closed down and redeveloped.

Always thought Sabbath were a terrific live group. Bill Ward doesn't generally get enough cred for his drumming.

Probably 74. Yeah, I got a Sabbath album with that song on it. I always thought they were "demon like" LOL but loved their music.

Van Halen!
Rock and Roll!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eddie seems to always have a smile on his face but he sure taps that guitar. Early days.

Later years. It is too damned bad that David has to wack his nose, especially being on Kimmel, I mean they really wanted this to go well. Eddie keeps his cool as usual and keeps rockin.

That first vid I think was a promo set VH used before, or just after, releasing the first album. You can see they are wearing the same clothes they are wearing on the VH first album cover.

Cool to see Eddie playing the "Shark" guitar (an Ibby Destroyer). It's the one he actually used on that track when recording it, then he cut into the heel of it, and it changed the sound apparently. There are a couple other vids of the same performance where he plays his Frankenstein guitar when it was still B&W paint.

The second vid, man. The show must go on, I guess. Dave is always the showman, and the other guys deliver as per usual.

I remember back in the 70`s these guys at Allens Beef and Ale House in Glenville, NY. about a half hour away from me. Through most of their concert I was at the edge of the stage with beer of course. That night and the next morning my ears were ringing. Aw, the fuckin times we had back then. Awesome.........................

Merry Christmas to you too Raven!

Ya know, I gotta tell ya, I actually do not listen to music on the radio or anywhere anymore. In other words, I could not name one new song that was made probably since the 80`s, rock music included. Rock bands that have developed since the 80`s as well.

I am strictly a 60`s and 70`s guy for rock music. However I do occasionally listen to smooth jazz. I do like that music very much, it has class.

When I do listen to the radio it is strictly "talk radio". Once in awhile I do get the urge to look up old time favorites on youtube and listen but that is about it.

Just guess I don`t have much of an interest in listening to music anymore, especially modern music. I can`t stand pop, hate rap crap and as far as rock music goes, they can`t do the modern stuff any better than they did the classic rock so why bother.
