The short answer is no.

The option to have a space to vent and speak our minds can be for certain therapeutic. We should expect the context to be read, but be 100% prepared for no one to care enough to read it. This is true of all written text not just online spaces like NN, or FB. Heck I spent 10 years wondering how to get a date since I didn't hang out with the cool kids. But i have no regret having chosen to not expose myself to noise so loud I would need a hearing aid, not using drugs, not suffering brain liver or kidney damage from alcohol consumption, and not obsessing over muscles, pointless cars/trucks/bikes, sports. So my haunt has always been online. But see I also lack the ability to negotiate or sell myself. I have more or less zero charisma and no supernatural power to attract idiots for miles like some seem to be cursed/blessed with. So after years of several well maintained singles sites, and multiple iterations in testing of various strategies to comment, describe myself, etc. I realized people just don't care. NN is nice enough to post a counter too, so we can literally know how many times some one looks to see our profiles, pictures or blogs. And I can report that here, I am no more popular than any other, and no mater what I say, post, or don't, no one cares. Well admins might if I broke rules, but its their job, not personal interest.

So by default who does get read. Well for one, those who seem to attract the most in every day life, are no joke the assholes and the narcissist. We seem quietly in love with totalitarian figures even thought its literally the whole reason we have a country, to resist those figures... confusing isn't it. I am sure there is a documented psychological term for this, I just don't know it. I am certain its related to the mechanism that causes victims to fall in love with their captors and abusers.

The other factor is being a good entertainer, being outspoken, having that natural glam, charm or energy that attracts.

Women by default seem to be good attractors too. I am mean, a blank profile can get hundreds of visits and messages. It's enough that I suggest to all women, that with creating any new profile, wait 2-3 weeks before filling it in and erase all contact that was received in those first days. I mean, what kind of Dog writes to a blank profile and confesses their love. It's safer to assume the messages are all spam than to waste any time looking them over.

The rest of us, if lucky might gain a few friends and a following. Been there done that. But I don't thrive on cults so eventually I turn the follower loose. On FB, ban tool was a highly effective way at removing creepy stalkers, since there was no other way to do this manually.

Will I ever be popular? Eight ball says no.
Do I care? Thankfully, I am an INTJ who has no faith in this world.

Still it can be therapeutic to just sit and write. So I am glad this space exists.

My good news for the day my stolen order will be reshipped. And I found a Dewalt drill I thought had been taken from my car.

My bad news for the day... ZJ series Jeep have Springs, Shocks, and 4 control arms in both the front and rear. But life here in St. Louis has been very unkind to my ZJ. I guess the air in Wisconsin was drier? Because here the de settles every morning and every morning the rust eats a little more. I have rust in places that have always been exposed and never seen any rust at all, ever! So now its falling apart. I am told that there are parts made to replace the damaged material on the bottom. But I have no idea where to find them. The tech says at best it will be January before he can get me in. So in the mean time, unless I find another vehicle, I am back to biking to work, every day like I used too. It's been fun having a Jeep these last 13 years, and it's reached a nice 25 years of age too. -Is it time to take it our behind the barn?

Can't help but notice as local users continue to drop off the map. Total number of women who login at least every two weeks now down to 13, from 21 just a year ago. Total number of new users averages 0. Active male accounts outnumber active women, almost 11-1. Average seem to be about 65 but there are a few younger.

To see what the "Dating site" is all about I created an account... Its like a beta version of Facebook in the days when it was run from a college dorm. But it's most certainly not a dating site at least not yet. I googled the site name and google clearly identifies it as a social site, like Facebook. An anti establishment social site. OK... well, it got a ways to go. Also the registration is broken. I have never ever been able to get a confirmation email, like ever, and I tried 3 addresses. Well, either the function is broken or the server has been flagged and so email from is automatically erased?? It doesn't land in spam and it doesn't go to trash. It just doesn't exist.

Thankfully, it did not rain today. I was able to get my Jeep Cleaned out thanks to that. Even if it is doomed to just sit for several months now.

Ordered a new Nintendo Switch online. Sender chose DoorDash to deliver. The package dashed away less than 10 min after delivery, off a second floor balcony in a location where idiots leave stuff to sit for days on end. So no more Nintendo.

My opinion of the Vendor in their poor choice in delivery services (not disclosed up front) is pretty much in the trash. Door Dash itself... I cannot see how there is any liability at all in their deliveries and why would any one send anything of value with random strangers? Just asking for this to happen.

So... Not a good day.

Anything interesting happening in the area? It's a secret to me.

My only disappointment in this site is that almost no one seem to know its even here. So in one respect it's quiet and not over run. But in another new members in Midwest locations are far and few, I know I track it. I think there have been 4 new members in Missouri in the last 2 years only 19 are active. In adjacent states this is similar I think up to 24 in Wisconsin, and a few more in Illinois.

Meanwhile other sites with adult content are nearly over run with fresh user and fresh content. Though fairly said most of them also operate in a firewall so members never know anything true about members. Here is is often clandestine and many members do opt to meet each other.
