New currency for easy anonymous spending online. (BCH)
So in 2011 I was talking about bitcoin here on this forum when it was $1.50 - it is now $60,000 a pop. I was excited as it was to be a fast anonymous way to buy things online, but it kind of didn't turn out as a medium of exchange as planned.

Today - I want to let you know about a spinoff currency - BitcoinCASH

It is based on the same technology, but as Bitcoin has grown it has become too slow to transfer and also expensive to transfer, so it is now like "digital gold" rather than a good method to pay for things anonymously.

So from this week we'll also be accepting BitcoinCASH (BCH)

It is a super easy way to pay for things, and transaction fees are almost zero.

Its beginnings were controversial, but it looks to me like BCH could possibly be the currency of choice for buying day to day items digitally.

Getting a wallet is free and easy and you don't even need to sign up. Just install the app on your phone:

Handle Me With Care
I notice how this Bitcoin creation has become a form of whats said to be real money.by some.
There are many forms of currency.
The actual value of different currencies always have some form of basis to stand on.
Take silver for example.
Once upon a time. a silver coin was actually silver.
Today in the UK it's not of course.
This is because the value of silver far exceeds the spending power of the currency and amount stated on the coin.
The currency became subject to a market largely based on where the coin comes from.
The actual value of the coin is traded off against others
Of course, there can be "crashes" but they are few and far between..
Perhaps a clue is the a paper/plastic notes that we have...
They state " I promise to pay the bearer on demand the sum of .. ".

The Bit Coin lacks this..
Its a " wild card ".
With a reasonably stable economy we know that a £10 Note basically buys what it did yesterday.
The Bit Coin has no sound basis
.
