sexual addition
The subject of a tv program the other night in the uk was sexual addiction. It highlighted the internet as a major contributer to a persons sexual addiction, with frequent users of the internet for sex, being seen as addicted. It worried me as I come on here a bit more than i should, although not always for masturbation. Would you consider yourself addicted at all?

Do you believe everything you see on TV?

Does it matter if one is addicted to sex? Damned sight better than being addicted to nicotine or alcohol. Actualy the worst possible addiction in my opinion is to be addicted to television

What does worry me is you saying you dont always masturbate when uyou visit here!!! Now i think you could have a serious problem there.

How do you define addiction? As long as time spent here on NN does not interfere with family, job/career, relationships, or maintaining a household I think you're OK. If you find yourself late to work, having to make up lies, or even seeing the laundry pile up because of time spent here, then you may have a problem.

Now let me get back to perving. I'll put out the fire in the kitchen later........ grin

I might be addicted because I'm seeing doubles of FoxyLady. Maybe it's too much masturbation, or maybe not enough. I can't seem to figure it out.

Mind you I like lots of things twice (at least)!!!

Foxy
I can think of at least a dozen things I would let you (beg you?) to do twice. If the worst thing you ever do is double post, you are elegible for sainthood.

Overdoing anything to the harm of the necessary activities of life is "addiction". But beware of who is defining any 'abnormal' behavior and what his/her agenda might be. Then ask, in the light of my daily life, is this getting in the way? Bills get paid? Children protected, fed, clothed? Spouse/mate happy and satisfied... all the stuff that we humans do that makes us whole and healthy. If that stuff is secure, addiction is a minor worry if at all.

As to your headline: we all either engage in or are the product of sexual addition: we are each here because 1+1=3. grin

CC Cup
That would be an addition not addiction.

I agree with ccups that if you build a whole addition that would be fun. Having it full of guys and gals for sexual adventures.

Do your job, pay your bills and you have no problems.

Did your mom not tell you you can go blind watching TV?

In his subject line he asked about a sexual (addition)..

and your right,, it could be fun..
It would have to have some special features though.
But besides the king sized beds, oversized whirlpool tub,
trampoline, trapeze and all the toy boxes,,

I would make damn sure the carpet was scotch guarded.
I have a feeling there might be a problem with stains..

extension not addition
see ladies, although the idea of a sexual addition is great, you need to use the correct building term which is extension here in the uk.

You can't be addicted to something you don't get sad

Anyway...
I think that you can only class yourself as having an addiction if you have withdrawal symptoms.
For example i know i have a caffeine addiction because if i stop drinking coffee i get a headache.

so let me get this right Mark
you said, 'You can't be addicted to something you don't get'

you mean to tell me that certain people don't have access to the internet??

'Anyway...
I think that you can only class yourself as having an addiction if you have withdrawal symptoms.
For example i know i have a caffeine addiction because if i stop drinking coffee i get a headache.' sounds to me like to coffee is giving you the headaches because of the caffeine, not the other way round.

When it's sexual addiction and not just horniness...
Sexual addiction makes a person do all kinds of things that are contrary to their real nature for the sake of getting off. They'll sleep with people that they have no real interest or attraction to and then reject them afterwards out of guilt or shame. They'll lose control of themselves and find themselves in dangerous situations that simple common sense should have helped them stay away from.

Just like junkies or drunks, sex addicts are out of control, always chasing that next sensation - the next high - and doing ever-more crazy things to get it.

It's real. And it's terrible.

Yeah, we're sex addicts and nn is part of the foreplay, but we are in control and don't have sex with other ppl.
We had sex seven times this weekend and woke up horny this morning, Angel told me she wants to get laid real good after work. I'll be thinking about her pussy all day, I guess that makes us sex addicts, but we're having a great time fuck'n.......

I classify myself as a willing sex addict because thinking about sex and looking at sexual images gives me so much pleasure. My problem is that I do not have a warm, wet and willing woman to share my addiction.

I feel tactile deprivation because I have so much physical love to give but no willing partner to give it to. I am sure that there are so many frustrated women in the same situation as me who would love to have regular passionate sex but are not allowed to because it would not be acceptable to their partners.

Don't worry, if you live long enough, age will cure you of this addiction.

Sexual addition
There is nothing wrong with masturbating and giving yourself pleasure.

If you can't love yourself, how can you love other people?

I've got to say I don't believe in it. It was started by Hollywood stars caught dipping into everything in sight because it was available. If termed a "medical condition", or a "mental health issue" well then the person at the center of the addiction was not responsible for their actions. What a scam.
Guess what, we all enjoy it, we all love it. Let's own up to it and say, I like all of the things listed in the comment above and I am good with that. When I don't like it anymore I will not engage in that behavior.

Mighty strong
Sexual addiction can be so strong that we neglect things we should be doing. I spend every minute, I able, on the net looking at the sick thigs others R doing to themselves and others. I edge myself in the morning befor work while watching porn or other sick SOBN's like myself. I chat cam talking about what I'd do and have done to my body. I tell others what they want to hear about using them for my pleasure. Thier pleasure is on the list of play time but very low. I dream of getting sucked and fucked & giving back the same.
I have been addicted for many years & even when I know I should be doing some thing constructive, like now, I go online to find some thing to jerk off with. I can about 30 min. ago watching spy cam stuff. Not real, I'm sure but my cock didn't know that. I'll be here in the morning fucking my fist or sliding my rectal vibrator up against my prostate edging myself and leaking precum like dribbling pee.
I love this addiction. I love glory holes and the cock suckers on the other side. Some times I'm the cock sucker. tongue raspberry ohmy

I think that the more orgasms we have the easier they become and the more we want. One could argue that everything comes down to chemicals. It has been found that the part of the brain which is activated by heroin is the same part which is activated by an orgasm. It is hardly surprising that we can become addicted to sex as endorphins are released into our bloodstream when we have an orgasm. We are behaving like drug addicts using our drug of preference which is free, legal and always readily available!

Sexual addiction, I think so, a few months ago we tried to stop having sex every day and skip a day in between to give ourselves time to build more sexual energy. That only lasted a few times and we were back at it every day again, we even shuffle our schedules to make specific time for sex. We don't see this as a problem since it isn't having a negative impact on the other things going on in our life in fact it seems to have a calming effect. cool angel
