tip
sorry i posted about this before. can a pic like this be fixed after it's shot? i've cleaned the lens, used bright lighting, etc.
If you're referring to the quality of the photo, the short answer is no. You need to upgrade the quality of your camera to a higher pixilation quality.

okay. i tried a filter in photoshop & though it worked. but pics like this are just too far gone i guess.

it happens... I also did not accept a black and white photo... and it's good, according to reviews...

It's a nice pic. Doesn't need any touching up imo

that's sweet mr. vein, but it's all speckled, has a lot of noise, whatever you want to call it.

A photographer would call it grainy...

Sadly thats way too grainy - Even de-grain tools would struggle. Just needed more light for the photo

Beautiful

It's *possible* to clear it up and remove noise, but it would be technically difficult and more work in the end than just retaking a better shot :/

I'm no expert but that really does seem to be a poor camera,

It doesn't look like natural graininess to me, almost like an added filter effect, and the top is more grainy than the bottom. 🤷‍♀️

It seems that none of the pics in your gallery have this issue

here's the whole pic. 9 times out of 10 my pics turn out like this. it's not a filter, just a cheap phone lol.
Maybe update your phone then as suggested, or add more lighting

I didn't know a Nokia 3310 could take photos

it's not that cheap captain, but pretty close lol.

I still have my old Nokia 3310 in a cupboard.

It looks like the camera is using a real high ISO. Since it's a phone pic I don't know how much control you have over that but see if you can ramp it down. Mr Google might be able to offer some help

You could check out one of the AI enhancers like Topaz Photo AI. For future pictures you might check and see if you're phone can save

I'll need to look at your original file most likely

^please dont send people your full files. it might have location info.

just a suggestion yuki, but you can get a webcam thats at least 1080p for relatively cheap. might be an option if youre in a pinch.

This selfie/ringlight/tripod adds quite a bit of lighting. It holds your phone in the center and has a remote for the selfie. It was under $40 through Amazon.[Link]

i actually bought a stand with a light ring. it goes to 72" i think. anyways. some times i get good pics and other times not so much. it's gotta be the phone.

Over the years I have found upgrading resolution intimidating! All those flaws exposed but then you look back at your shitty older pics and are happy you did

There are ways to improve photos with the right photo programs, with my freelance photography I use 3-4 different programs to alter or change pictures.

It looks like there wasn't a whole lot of light in the room where you took the picture. Try taking some outside. Maybe go in the woods and set a timer.
put it in black and white. i just tried messing with that photo, and that was how i got best results.

Megapixels aren't the route to fantastic pics the way the phone companies sell it. Jamming more cells in a tiny image plate means compromise, and usually a reduction in light gathering ability per pix

You could step up to an actual camera. Maybe a Canon that would run chdk and then output raw files instead of jpg.
