Seeing the first butterfly of, the year, is the most special of days for me, it always has been and will be, after that it, is the Damselflies, had meant to really try for them last year in a few different places, but one thing and another, never happened, but with luck, this year.

I chase , it is what I do, seeking that moment, that I will always keep in, my memories.

When at the Doctors last week, got weighed, lost another 4 pounds since the last time, no need to visit again too August or so.

I have a long weekend, for Easter, took Monday off, with luck weather will be decent, a nice sunrise would be nice,

Then it, will be annual leave, I finish around 17th May till start of June.

I resurrected my old user name Whokens, on another blogging site, whether I will use it not really sure, my large A4 writing pad is my favourite place to just write now, blogs on here, get so little views now, I noticed a blog I done a little while ago, had only 2 views, but it is a site wide thing, from seeing a status still being on the page for hours and hours, but I think it is just social media in general.

I could say a lot more, on what, I see on here, but I am not here for the drama, I like to just look and see, you learn about people that way. I guess, I was just trained to blend into backgrounds, it becomes a natural thing.

So many questions in life. sun is shining and outside is the place to be, been cooking a chicken for dinner, so just thought, lets blog.

It needs a click to see, it better, they all do now, but first bee picture of the year.

Like a few times now, writing this blog, just seems xxxxxxxxxx, you write it, delete it, start again, 4 times for this one, as much, as I am wanting to keep writing weekly it is not the fun anymore

I know, I am restricting myself in what, I write, things, I want to share, but built those walls up again. this is not a cry for people to say to stay or anything like that, truth is, when I decide to leave here, I am gone, I will just vanish.

Away from here, I am like the invisible man anyway, will share this one, I have no friends, as much, as I am a loner, maybe that is the real issue, why does no one, want to hang around with me,, yes, I really ask myself that one a lot, but then I just do, what I always do, get the boots on, dress for the weather, lift the camera bag and head to my little world.

I look at this tree a lot, it stands alone, , there is further trees, just up, from it, there branches, all inter connected like friends, and then you have my tree, it signifies me, when I took this picture a few weeks ago, I thought it was about the dream of the snow being here , but the thing, that really came from the picture, after all those years, was the reason.

I love this time of the year, when the mornings, get lighter and lighter and my body says, get up and just go, done that the last 2 mornings, not taken the camera with me, it was mornings to just explore and see, to sit and watch the world, too just enjoy the silence, well not quite true as the dawn chorus is wonderful now, or like this morning, throw in a barking roe deer. So many deer around here now, too many, to be truthful, the one other thing, that has multiplied is Pheasants, now these really are a pest, another of man's failures.

I am using my block feature , more and more here, I done the same, years ago, it goes in cycle's.

I do not really log in during the working week, trying for Friday too , a Sunday, for now, then it is going to be once a week, when on holiday, might do, the daily blogs, I kind of like that, got excited the other day, thought, I had actually got 2 PM's from somebody, then realised, it was from me, sending pictures too blog, for me, there is not the same interaction, that there once was on here, but that is just the way it goes.

I wonder, what my next thing too learn might be, been enjoying finding out about me, I climbed a tree, yesterday, just too see, if I could, it will be my last time in doing so, I learned that, one more thing struck off, the list of can do's !

I had phoned about getting a new camera, yesterday and they had sold the last one 20 minutes, before, my call, will wait till, my May holiday now, if not then, it will be August holiday or Christmas. it is going to be a Canon R6 Mark ii, final decision, my other option, was a Canon R5, will get an adaptor and use, pretty much, what I have, it works for me.

I know, another Daffodil picture, was sitting there and might never have for used..

I am always glad, now when the working week is done, 3 days to me, then and well, just see, how it pans out.

I got some good news, my focus is back to normal in my left eye now, had the test a few weeks ago and finally got the phonecall too, say all is well.

Bloods done last week and still got the bruising to show for it lol.

I really need some sunny weather, never thought, |I would say such a thing, must be an age thing.

Might see, if I can wander with the camera tomorrow, forecast is not promising, might just end up going without it and seeing, what is around.

Thankfully got a little colour in, the garden with the Daffodils, needs a click on it, too, see it at its best, sure made me smile, when taking the pictures.

All in yesterday, I walked just shy of 10 miles, a large chunk, was in the afternoon, when I done , just over 7.5miles, the rest was in the morning. I also had the camera back pack on, with the long lens and one other, throw in my tripod and ball head and the other bits and pieces, was a very good test, this morning no ill effects, no added pain, that the usual everyday ones, but it lets me know, that I can do it now.

Not easy miles, good rise in elevation, but I was wanting to get somewhere, I wanted to sit in a spot and get lost. To see, if there was the potential of photos, I thought there was. These are massive beech trees, that run along a ridge, the fields fall away too, the left, as I walk along, the one thing, that waste's it, is the fence that runs beside them and powerlines, at the end.

I sat in my spot, can see, forever here, it is like my mountain summit, the Mouse and me, use to walk here, her home, was only 4 fields from here and until one, day I took her, there , there, she never knew off, the beauty of here. My memories of her came flooding back and the fun times we had,

I tend to stay away from places and things , that bring me happy memories, as I sat there yesterday, I saw that. now, as I write, this, and look at the screen, is that why, I am really drifting away from here.

Another for my black and white project, this tree is a symbol for me, it will always hold happy memories.

I usually keep certain pictures for myself, this one, fitted the bill, but it was one, off three, that I had from this morning, it is a view, that, I am happy with, but, the critical me, see's what is just not right, but, it gives me, something to work for.. Hopefully people looking at this one, are happy, with it..

I go back to work, tomorrow, just go in, do my job and come home, that is the plan from now on. I do my own thing and get left alone.

I am in a happy place, I pretty much just go with the flow, so much to look forward too, not like me, but a bit of warmer weather would be nice, but just clear skies would be nice, we just never seem to get them here now, for so long, I had hoped that night photography would have been something, that would have been part of my way, so never ever did buy a really nice fast prime lens for this.

This is blog 16 for the year, I have ben enjoy them, different from the old ones, where I shared more of the old days, but I know, that they will pop up now and again, for those times, are a massive part of my journey to, where I am now.

I might try and add a few more pictures, that tell the story of my little adventures, those random shots, maybe 6 or so, could this be a little monthly challenge too think about.

But I have one last one from this week, the male Hazel flowers, I enjoy these type of pictures, I hope to do a lot of flower photography this year, not just wild, but garden too..

So hopefully, you all have enjoyed the last week of blogs, will be back next weekend.. have a great week everyone.

Just like , everyone else, taking pictures, I get something, that I just think. nope, it does not work. I took this picture of the old bridge, dread to think how many times, I have walked over this and yes, can remember it, when I would have been happy to shoot this, but all the little trees and there branches, is just clutter, now I might go to, the bank on the left side and look.

I did shoot . it, as a black and white, I had to balance the tripod in a hedge, got funny looks from a passing walker, who did like the picture, when I showed them.

Cold weather forecast for the end of the week, well frost, my praying for snow, is not working.

I woke early, the planned coastal walk, never happened, the wind was, just not blowing hard enough, for where, I wanted, just the way it goes sometimes, but, in a little break this afternoon, I did get out, 7 days in a row, 7 different pictures, it must be years since, I have done this.

So, i managed what I wanted in a way.

My photography journey, is on going. I am working on a few little projects, might make a little book for myself at the end of them, there is no time scale, will know, when, they are done.

But now, it will be a week off, just back to keeping it fresh.

It is pictures, like this, that you get to see, the image better at, a larger size, Hazel flowers, so tiny, took me an age to see some, then kept losing them, so much was against me, but in the end not one but two, never had this before, it is just the small things, that make me smile.
