My blog pictures are just records of my life, I suppose, just like the words, they both speak of something, some pictures, will have meanings, that only I get , but a picture can mean something to anyone.

In the short time, since I got the new phone, I have used it more, for my blog pictures and it will probably continue like that.

I think, before taking a look at anymore, I have 7 sitting on Flickr, waiting to blog, I did think of blogging them all at once, all have been taken over a week.

Have you ever emptied out you pockets and looked at what you have in them, what does it say about you, after coming back from my morning walk, I did this, the idea is not mine, goes way back to one day, when Julie came in and tipped her bag over a table to see, what she had in it. Her everyday bag was an old leather one, it was tan and I can still remember a few things it was in it, that just stand out a little more, than the everyday things, one was a flick knife and the other a condom.

So in my jackets and trousers, what did I have, well in no particular order. 1 pair of mittens , 3 pair of nitrile gloves, a balaclava , a snood, a torch, 2 knives, 2 carrier bags, 2 lots of toilet paper in a plastic bag, my phone in a case, in the case, there was £35 and old ID card, I had a further £7-26 in my trousers. a piece of baler twine , one camera base plate and set of headphones. and a bubble level.

What does, that say about me lol.

I also got asked on Friday, if I fancy teaching someone, how to use there camera , that they have just bought, as it is my fault she bought it .She had seen me, when she was out running over the years, standing taking my pictures and thought to herself, what is he taking pictures off, one day she stopped and we talked and I showed her, was the tree, I posted the other day, well not, just that one, there is a row of them, there was just a touch of fog, the sun was rising to the side, the picture, I had in mind, never happened. That was close to 4 years ago.

Road side trees, a project, I have started, this one, is just out the village, it had that nice bit of sky, that caused me to stop, but there was more to it, that that, the idea of the project happened.

Was thinking how quick the start of this year has been. 12 days in and just flew by, an age thing, as I get older time does fly.

My life has seem to had so many lifetimes, so many chapters, sometimes, I get reminded of things, such vivid flashbacks. I have asked myself why a million times, why did she do it. but then she never did do warnings, when she was really going to do something.

I try to move on, tried to forget, but glad, that I never do forget, so much of the past, I really love, it was me.

I sat in the hospital on Monday, waiting, I read my book. you hear all the complaining and I just smile.

All went well, was able to read a line better, than the last time and the injection in the eye, really does make a difference who is doing it. first time, I thought was ok, this time, was just better

Tell the Moucher, I said hello, was a message I got in the shop this morning, it made me smile, thoughts going back over 50yrs, the ladies dad is one of the few that called me that, before I decided on Whokens, as my first name, was going to use a variant on Moucher.

Would say, maybe in my next profile, but this will be my last one, thinking that re inventing myself is possible it is not, for I am fairly happy being me.

The significance of a tree, eh I just like it, plus this is my favourite time of year to take a picture, the sun rise is behind her and when you get a frosty morning around -5c and clear skies, I get there about a hour before the sunrise and get my fix.

9-05am, when I started this, just back in from a morning sunrise shoot and it was lovely and cold, around -4, but wrapped up and all the right gear on, it was just right, especially when, you are standing in the one spot for maybe a hour. then when walking back home, 2 handwarmers popped into the mittens and no cold hands..

I go and get my injection tomorrow, was thinking of heading to the coast, when I come out, might throw the camera in my bag just in case. I am back in the happy place.

I was at the coast yesterday afternoon, chance of taking pictures of an old friend, been a few years, but looking for new pictures all the time now , she will feature in the blog, it is a nice sea scene and features two things in it, I made a status about it yesterday, hope no one thought it was a woman. I would never take pictures of a woman and post them on here, unless she knew, I would string anyone doing so , up by the balls for doing so, it must be one of the ultimate breaking of trust. I did take a picture of a woman yesterday, when I was standing taking my sunset pictures, she gave me her phone and asked if, I could get her and her dog in a picture. I got a holy shit, that is good, when she had a look at it.

They have added a bit of sea defences, to stop the waves crashing over the wall and onto the road, next storm, I know, where I am going to be, see, if it gives some nice wave action.

I took pictures twice yesterday and it will be the same today, this afternoon, phone and take the tripod, go stand in the river and see what we get.

I learn all the time, it keeps life interesting, probably why my mind is always racing at 100mph.

I took this along with the last couple, I have posted on my blogs, all at the same time, got a few more, I could post, but will save for a rainy day. Could actually see, the days changing yesterday, not dark, just as quick, usually from the 3rd week in January i really start to notice, nice weather for a few days, have to take advantage of this..

I am back to work tomorrow, it never bother's me that. Christmas is my longest break and one that I look forward too, this one, I have truly rested my body. No long epic walks . no carrying of weighted rucksack, not once out on my bike.

I finished my holiday book last night, the latest Rebus, it was supposed to be Tom Woods latest but paying £12.99 for the Kindle download is something, that I was not keen to do, So next up will be Stuart McBride's.

Last year, I bought a few photography books and when, I go to bed, I lift one, look at a few of the pictures , put on a podcast and fall asleep, the ambition of listening to it turns off, after 30 mins , has not happened once in a very long time, if I even get too, the 5 min it is a miracle, only had one bad night's sleep in a ages.

I think is time to hide away again , a lot easier this time, for who actually is in contact with me in life anymore. I tried and I failed at whatever normal thing is .

Another overcast morning, was raining heavy when I got up, cold weather is supposed to be coming back at the weekend and into next week, which I might get to enjoy, I have a few days off work next week, as I get my Macular injection in my eye again. I am looking forward to that, first one helped a lot, so maybe, it will just keep getting better after each one.

I stood in the middle of a field yesterday, was trying to get a picture of sheep around some favourite tree's, plenty of them, but on the opposite side of the fence, but turning round and looking about, I saw a new picture to work on, very much a long lens shot, maybe it will work. Bit like life sometimes, adapting.

Another long exposure type from the phone, experimenting all the time, with these, you take the picture in live mode, it records a lot of images and blends them for you by pressing long exposure . Crazy technology . I listened to a really great photographer talking about the same phone, as I have and him saying, the same things. He uses it a lot for video work, I have not even tried that one yet.. Might just do so today.

One last one, I was standing taking my pictures the other day and for the first time ever, I had a feeling of being lonely as I did. I thought to myself, what woman in her right mind would want to stand on a stormy beach, in cold, bracing against the wind with me.

I took 1400 pictures, with my camera and phone. Whittled it down to 139, which will go down too 20 at the most.

I will try and get out today, might start a new project today, black and white long exposures, each shot being over a minute long is the basic and only rule.

5 goals and things to aim for, have been written down in my book for 2024.

A lot will change next year, change is needed. But you are only ready for change, when you see it yourself.

More things, will become clearer over the coming weeks and months.

I went to the coast yesterday, we have had winds after winds, direction looked good, but not just right, but it never matters, I tried my new kind of stormy weather set up,, camera with long lens and phone.

I think, I might have got a few shots, I took some selfies, but no one will want to see those. I watched people trying to walk to the end of the pier , I got some of them in a picture or two, one did go the whole way.

But I did have fun, all that really matters.

My plans are final now, for the future, this holiday, has taught me a lot, have to thank everyone for that one.

Will pop back with a blog and a picture on Sunday, one last one for this year.

10 years since, I shot this. life has changed a lot.

I hope everyone, had the best of day's yesterday. It is easy to say, just another day, but then every day is actually like that.

I got a new pair of wellington's, these ones, have a nice Vibram sole, I have searched for a while to find such a pair, we do not get a lot of icy weather here, but my Muck Boots, are useless when we do, same when walking on slippery rocks. But I walk with walking poles most of the time and these help.

I once got asked, what my ultimate picture would be on here, yes probably would involve a lady in a pair of wellies, not something, that will probably ever happen.

My first cooked Christmas dinner, was a success, when my Mum says it's good, all that matters, me I was looking forward to the pudding, has to be one of the best things, I have ever tasted, basically a Chocolate cheesecake with a bit of orange sauce, I am a careful diabetic, but I could have got really greedy and had more than a slice.

I have been awake since, around 2am. I did think of going out for a wander in the countryside, but everywhere is so wet, sticking to roads, does really do it for me, plus the last time, I actually got stopped by the police, to ask, what I was doing.

In a year's time, I will get a new camera, it will take that long, for me, to finally make my mind up. It might be the last one, that I buy, plus just now, I am really enjoying the phone, I think around May time, I am going to buy a second hand one Canon R7 if that means anything to anyone, to use for the macro type stuff, I do, I really am going to be chasing butterflies , damsels and dragons a lot next year and also flower photography.

Swirlies, a strong wind and move the camera a little, some people are fantastic at this, I am learning. But for me, this picture is longing maybe for the days of summer.

Eventually, you just have to do it. Just now it is, maybe just finding that little window, where, you might get it dry for a little bit and get out. I seem to live in the wets just now, glad, I have 3 good sets, pair them with wellies and you are good to go, got a pair of goretex gloves as well now and will be adding a pair of mitts as well.

I am in the market for another jacket, will have to get a small or a medium. But really need to see them, before buying.

I will do a lot of thinking and planning, getting the life plan updated, setting the goals and well stepping some thing up a little. For all I am limited in somethings, I can do, I can do others a fair bit better now.

Keep on going . There is things in life, you just have to accept.

Little while back, I had an offer of a friends with benefits, type of thing, but before, it even happened, I told her, well, she would have to pick a strap on, for that would be the only way I could make love to her, it never went any further and in the end, she had more of a problem with it, than I did.
I put it into perspective a year or so again. So i canny get hard, big deal, I wake each morning and apart from that, I can do pretty much anything else.

If I was to find someone, and she did want me, to wear a strap on, would that bother me, not for a second, would just say go and buy what you want lol, plus, I have always preferred the oral side of things anyway.

For the first time in my life, I will be making the Christmas Dinner, not a turkey in sight, I prefer Chicken. New Years dinner here, was always a Steak Pie, now deciding on whether I will give that a go. Someone once said, I plan to much. I just try and do much, so it makes things easier, at least, I do not do a daily list like, I once did.

Nearly 10years since I took this one and as the years go by, I still have so many pictures to edit, hard to believe, I have de saturated the colour on this, but that night mother nature, she gave me a sight, that I am not sure I will ever witness again, when sky and water before, me, was like it was on fire

Thankful for the phone, the only bit of light in the sky, was where the sun would have been rising in about a hour or so time. I like the pictures, that might not be anyone else's taste, but sat and stared at this for ages.
