Well I had the baby. A little boy who has grey eyes and auburn hair like me. I've nicknamed him squeaky, because he makes all these funny little noises. The kid is an absolute godsend! She loves being a little momma which gives me some peace and sleep. Capt is the over protective parnoid dad, which is actually cute and sexy all at the same time. Life is good, Life is chaotic, Life will never be the same. That's ok though. There are days I love Capt, and days I swear he's attempting suicide by redhead. The kid finished school with straight A+'s for the whole year. She really is the best kid. I got lucky with her. The squeaky is a pain, eating every 2 hrs, preemie, health issues, but he does know his momma alreay and it does melt my cynical, jaded heart. I wanted to travel, trek through the Andes when the kid went off to college. That has all been put on hold another 18years. I did that for Capt. Capt seems to understand sometimes, then other times he cleary doesn't. Nothing is black and white. Life seems to be nothing but shades of grey these days, probably from lack of sleep

On the bright side, no more maternity clothes ;D

It's 0130 and I can't sleep. Have tried everything and it's no use. I miss Capt when he's at work. I won't ever admit that to him though.

I'm doing the baby's room in dinosaurs, figured the whole airplanes and pilot thing would be cliche. Capt is a little annoyed but ok with it now that he's seeing how cute it's turning out. I'm mixing crystals in with the dinosaurs, using shiva linghams for dinosaur eggs, a giant salt lamp is the night light, and then various types of stones for terrain with giant stuffed dino's scattered about. I'll paint a mural on the wall in the new house so it'll be even cuter.

The kid is busy working on making a tail, wings, and beak for the baby. She's decided he's going to be her pet griffin for Halloween and is already working on the costumes.

Capt agreed to only putting a urinal in the garage, so that whole spat got resolved.

He now wants to put a drop down sex swing in the meditation room though. So that's the new spat.

Think I'm gonna try sleeping again.

I finally went down and registered at one of those baby stores. It turned out to be a tad on the funny side. There were two couples also registering at the same time. The women kind of gave me this little look and the one even out right made a comment to the effect of it being to bad I didn't have anyone to go with me. I just smiled. We all sort of went through the depts at the same time. I always just picked what I wanted and scanned it in, they had to discuss every item. It got heated with the big ticket items. lol. Neither lady got the strollers or swings they wanted. I did though

At the end, the one woman who commented earlier admitted coming alone was probably the smart thing. I just laughed and nodded.

It's been a busy few days and nothing really got done. lol.

Capt is trying to add urinals to the bathrooms in the new house we are building. He isn't kidding. He's really wanting to do that. I'm having fits over it. He's trying to say it's really for me - no more tiolet seats will get left up. I swear that man's life purpose is just to piss me off.

Capt suprised me with a quick trip to Sedona to see some of my friends before the baby comes. It was really about the nicest thing he could of done for me right now. The full moon was the biggest and brightest for about another 20yrs and it was just spectacular seeing that above the Sedona landscape.

We got aura photos this time because they said we should be able to pick up the baby on it. Of course on Capt's pic there is a little white angel looking over his shoulder, my pic - nothing. I was kinda irked. I'm hatching the little thing, it should have showed up in mine, not Capt's. Capt was all happy though and claims he is already the baby's favorite, which really irked me. Everything else about the trip was enjoyable though

Can someone explain to me how the hell a man that has flown as Captain on an Airbus for the last 20years can't manage to figure out how to operate a high efficiency washing machine...

Things are finally calming down a bit and I thought I'd see if I could find some time to tinker on here again every so often. Capt has moved in with me while he does some minor renovations to his house. We are expecting a baby in June

Capt is so damn happy about it. The kid is pretty happy as well. She calls the baby her little minion and thinks she can train it to do her bidding. She's at least stopped asking for a pet monkey anyway. Suppose that's enough for now.
