So I've decided it's time to lose some weight, and I have decided there are a few things that will probably push me until I meet my goal weight.

I may post photos of progression or I may not but I'm pretty darn well determined to get the job done

I may not be that person that everyone gets along with, that person that everyone finds to be respectful, or 'grown up' enough. I may not be that person that everyone wants to know, and I may not be that person who has the perfect shinning personality.

But I do know this, I am that woman that has the courage to move on past hard times,. I am that woman, that has faced that hardest of the hard and is still living to tell the story,.. I am that woman that has a level head on her shoulders when it's needed, I am that woman who knows how to take rejection and keep on going in life because if I'm not worth it, then it or they don't matter.

I am me, will always be me, and as long as it's taken to get me where I am today, I wont let people who dislike me, or disagree with who and how I am tear me down.

So on that note, I hope everyone has a lovely TOF

I know there were a -few- that have wondered over time what I was talking about in my previous blogs, about what I have finally accomplished.

First of all this is hard for me, as I was ashamed and embarrassed by it. I am now twenty seven, soon to be twenty eight. I never finished high school for several reasons so I did not have my high school diploma. To go into it a bit, when I was younger and going to school my life was always busy, trying to catch up on credits after my family uprooted all of us and had us out of school for way to long, I was helping most of my days with my brother and sister (ten years younger then myself) going to school, helping them, baby sitting, etc both of my parents worked so a lot of the time I just didn't have the time to play catch up. Also something else had happened, that I will not go into, but everything together going on, I was eventually removed from high school. I did complete vo-tech training to become a welder, ended up in the book of who is who because of it. Since being removed, I had worked made my way up, but had always wanted to get my GED, I always felt that I would never get it, and never be able to get anywhere because I never had enough confidence in myself to do it, as well as having little support to push me. Since I have been here with Howlin, things in many aspects had changed, I had that support, I had that push, and I had the want to get my GED, so my accomplishment is that I had successfully passed the GED test and got my GED. Not only did I pass but I made a decently high score over all, and very high college scores in many subjects. I now have more faith in myself, confidence in my self and even though I was ashamed, and embarrassed I feel I should be proud of myself, and I am now sharing (for those who wanted to know) what I have completed, and accomplished.

First I want to tell all the mothers out there regardless if yours kids are grown or still young, all the mothers who support their kids in more ways then just food and shelter, single mothers, married mom'mas I hope you all have a wonderful mothers day.

even to those who lost their babies, and those who have lost their babies before they were able to cry for the first time. To you I also hope that you have a wonderful mothers day.

This year just like the last I will not be contacting my own mother for my own personal reasons, but to those out there, with good relationships with your moms don't forget to call her and tell her happy mothers day,.. and to those new moms enjoy your miracle, before long you will be wondering when the heck they grew up!

I sit here on the couch, it has been a productive day, we did manage to get some things done, had a great lunch and was in the house and showered by about three pm.

It was raining and the clouds were amazing. I sat here on the couch, trying to get into writing an important story, that is an important project that I have started, and will some day share with howlin when it is partially complete.

As I sat here on the couch, I watched out the window looking at the rain droplets falling,.. they were small, and the only time you really noticed them was when they finally hit the guard rail on the front deck,.. it was like a mini version of a big bucket of water hitting a solid object,.. the rain droplets would explode into a million pieces and then continue to fall to either the floor of the porch, or down to the cement, it's interesting to know, that even though that is where the water droplet seemed to have ended, it is not where it will end up, .. because the rain never ends, it falls to the earth, finding it's way to other water sources and then evaporates and then becomes condensation which then at some point, becomes precipitation once again. (now that I got that geek moment out) ... I watched this rain as it fell, and thought more about this project, and howlin was sitting in his chair, doing his thing, surfing the net, looking for things that he can't live without! I looked at him out of the corner of my eyes, and watched him look at his screen, his hat on as always, his favorite faded shirt that he wears all the time, his glasses hanging off of his nose, and the every now and again peek at the TV screen to see whats on at that moment,.. his long hair combed back behind him.. what a hunk! ... *dreamy smile* ..

I can't complain on a day like today..

A good friend of mine, or rather a good friend to many here on NN, has been well under the weather these past few days. He is always on the road, and unlike many, when he gets sick, he can't call into work and take the day off and get some rest, or warm himself up a bowl of soup to sip on to feel better. He can't spend the day under warm covers in a comfortable bed, and he can't stop in a doctors office to get checked and get some medicine,.. he can't stop any time he wants to pick up something to help him get better.

When he is sick, he is still at work, he is still driving,.. and when he gets sick, he pulls through the day and then spends the night in a truck,.. So

to those of you reading this,.. think of our troubadour stop by his page and send him a get well.
