I enjoy taking a shower. Gives me time to think and relax. And this morning I just had one thing one my mind: “Time to get matters in my own hands!”. Breakfast talk was dominated by boyfriend’s night out with his friends. And although I’m always very interested in the latest gossip, I was distracted with my thoughts. So between blending a drink and making a toast, I made the decision to go on with my ‘shower plan’. And I guess boyfriend saw I was quieter then usually. Because suddenly he asked me: “What is on your mind? I give you a penny for u thoughts!”. I just smiled and said I was thinking about the stuff I had to do. And because I did not go into detail, I knew he was SUSPICIOUS. So I gave him that innocent ‘school girl look’. Like always boyfriend went to get the car after breakfast. Normally I just clean up after his gone, but this time I had other things to do. Important things! I walked to his study, took one of his markers. I went back to the dining room. Looked at the wall that so need to be painted. I hesitated like for 1 second. But after I had written my personal comment on it, I knew I should have done these 3 weeks ago. While I was rethinking my actions, I knew I had to do one last thing. I ran to the bathroom, took my ‘devil bath duck’, and put it in front of the wall. I got the bath duck a few years ago, because apparently I can be a little devil. And I have no idea why he thinks that of me! While he was driving me to my work, I was still enjoying the moment. I knew I would hear about it as soon as he would be home. And 30 minutes later, I got his call. He was laughing, telling me I so need to take medication. That he just knew something was going on… And that he so loved the comment I left for him… The crazy duck … And now he is painting over the comment. And I already miss it in some way. Not the wall, because it really need a new colour. I miss the meaning. But deep down inside me, I know I have put my mark (on him). And that is for life. | ||||

My boyfriend has taken the week off. So with all his free time I decided to make a list of ‘Things to do’. Just so he wouldn’t be bored. I compare such things with Valentine Day, you need to point out to a guy what u really want and just hope you will not get a blender this year. So trusting my female instinct, I decided to leave work a few hours earlier. Just hoping to catch my SPECIAL guy before he was gone that night. Telling him how much I appreciate him, what he means for me and how special he really is. I even felt romantic and so wanted to show it to him. And I know he would be tired after his working day. So anyhow, just like I sneaked inside our flat, and just when I wanted to call out ‘Honey, I’m home’, I noticed things didn’t look so special. Even more, things looked much the same since I left this morning. The only thing I did saw was boyfriend ... sitting behind his PS2. You can imagine how much he was surprised to see me, and it is even harder to explain how much I was surprised seeing his progress with the list. So now his gone with his friends, because Tuesday is like ‘guys night out’. And I’m here with my list of ‘Things to do’ and a euro coin. A friend told me, “maybe you need to take matters in your own hands”. Just get dirty with some paint. And maybe I will just toss this coin and let faith decided. After al, he finds me a SPECIAL girl. | ||||

First I want to thank ‘Tilac Girl’ to put me behind my writing desk. Because many have questions, I will just start to introduce myself. I’m from the land of croissants, great wine, fashion,… Any idea? Yep, from France, and actually from ‘gay Paris’. Still don’t know why some say that! Living close to ‘the Louvre’ and having a view on the ‘Eiffel Tower’. What more can a girl ask? Working is just playing with others people money. So I guess I’m good with numbers then. And what some may think, I love my job. Gives me the chance to see a lot of the world, to meet new people, to have new experiences. And now the question many have asked me: ‘You have a boyfriend?'. Yes, I do have one. And to tell more, he is also a NN member. Ooh, I just felt a shock going through the NN community: “WHO IS HE?”. And no fizzy, don’t pretend it is you. LOL But enough about that (I could write books about my boyfriend). To continue my introduction, I’m an only child. So spoiled or raised like a princess in my own little Versailles. So I was very lucky and I had a happy childhood. Well, until the nuns came along… But I will spare you people about that. To keep this short, I’m just another girl. ‘YOUnique’ but like everyone else. Just love life and want to taste everything it can offer me. Just looking for that special 'taste of life', even if it means I need to eat vegemite soon. But like I always say, what doesn’t kill me, just make me stronger. | ||||
