I put a few pics up last night & on one of the pics (the one of me nude in front of the window somebody put 'toooooo old.....'.
The daft thing is I put it in the Mature Women category,so I must be really old if I'm too old for that !!!!
So it must be official,I'm too old

& while we're at it TOO OLD FOR WHAT ???

The temp one was fine,but talk about slow...I could have died quicker.
Me & Micky have been sorting it all out for the last 4 hours...haven't quite got to grips with Vista yet,but it's early days.Hopefully I'll try & upload a couple of pics & see how it goes.But we're of to bed now (to sleep!!!) we've both got headaches from looking at the new 22" HD widescreen.

Last Thursday our computer decided to die !!! Every time we moved the mouse it stated in a little box that it was going into 'sleep mode'!!! & it kept doing it,couldn't wake the little bast*** up!!!.Lucky enough one of the guys at work has set up an old one (first day back on line today) for us to get us through the hols until the sales are on.Even luckier was everything is backed up on an external hard drive.The processor has had it he says & it's not worth replacing,even as a mate,better off getting a new one.
Which means after all this time I'll have to 'learn Vista'!!!

on the computer...there's bloody 100s,possibly over 1000!!!.
I've never posted some of them,you know how it is you take a few one night,then the next,& so on.Before you realise it you've got a back-log,some I posted,some I didn't get round to.
The problem now is without checking through the pics I've posted on NN (which would take hours!!!)I'm not sure which I've put up & which I haven't.So apologies in advance if I post any in the next couple of weeks that I've already posted (although they would probably be over 2 years ago),some of the newer members may have not seen them before.
For those wondering...I now have a system !!!

I'm so enjoying NN at the moment,I'm in a photo taking/posting mood.NN seems to have sorted out the voting system (thumbs up).Me & Micky have made some good friends here.All seems too good to be true (me waits for the explosion !!!).But we are both going to enjoy it while it's good,even Micky has taken to posting his own pics again !!!
I think I'm going to sort out my 'Friends' list this weekend,basically if any of my 'Friends' haven't signed into NN since Oct 1st then I'm going to delete them (unless they are really special to me).My list is getting way out of hand & I need to 'manage' it...so there (me sticks tongue out !!!)

Me 'n Micky & our son had Sunday dinner with my parents this evening...Dad is much better although he still has trouble with his knife & fork,which now that the worst is over with (hopefully) we all joked about.
It does seem strange that just over a week ago my world came crashing down & now it seems a distant memory.One of the things we've noticed though is that he has become a little forgetful,the doctor said he may or may not get over that...it's still early days.

Last Thursday my Dad had a stroke,totally out of the blue & a shock to all of us...I know he's getting old,he's 78,but he's never smoked,hardly drinks...but his downfall is he likes his salt & full cream milk in his tea,& his cream cakes etc...don't get me wrong he's not fat,but you could say he's portly!!!
It all started in the morning when he had tingling in his left hand fingers,he didn't think much about it...but by lunch-time he couldn't hold his knife at dinner.Mum phoned me,I said to phone the Doctor straight away as it sounded like a stroke,& they said to take him straight to hospital.
I won't bore you with all the details but basically they kept him in until yesterday,he's much better now although he still can't use his hand very well & his leg isn't right...lucky enough his face & speech don't seem to have been affected.
Most of his feelings should come back,he's on tablets & will be going for more tests...so hopefully this was just a warning.

The big shock for me is that this is the first time that I've really realised that my parents won't be around forever...of course I know they will die sometime but I've never really had to think about it before
