What a remarkable picture this is...its not new...been around for awhile.The Voyager spacecraft when it was slightly more than a billion miles from earth...further than any craft or otherwise has ever been from the planet Earth,turned around and took a snapshot of the solor system....a look back on its roots...and amoung all the stars could be seen 7 of the 9(at the time Pluto was in them lol)planets.Magnafied many times over...this Pale Blue Dot is the planet Earth.Caught in a beam of sunlight...here we all are.A tiny place we all call home.Everyone of us NN'ers and enemies and allies alike.The one and only place in our universe...as far as we know at this time...(and I do believe there are many)...but it is the only place we know of that we can live...it is our HOME!!!

Makes ME think anyways.....

Ok heres something new...I am going to give y'all a riddle...the first person to give me the right answer will get a pic of their chooseing...unless it is someone who dont want a pic ...then you just get a shout out saying you got it LOL

You are in a 2 story house.On the first story is a set of 3 light switches.On the second story is a lamp.One of the three light switches controls the lamp.The other 2 don't do anything.You can toggle the switches as many times on/off as you want.But you can only go upstairs once to check if the lamp is on or off.NO tricks here...no walking outside to look thru the window.There is a way of doing this logically.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!

oops here is an adendem....figure out which switch is the one that operates the lamp upostairs....

Well alot of my friends know I have a fascination with rennaissance faires and just about anything with them.I have taken this into my life in many ways.I ,as you know play guitar,play several renn.pieces.I am also an artist..some may or may not know that.I draw,paint,sculpt many things and many subjects.One of my favorites is to do some art work involving my other loves.Such as music,renn faires,books and so on.I am including in this blog some pics I hope you like

this is my sword I wear to the renn faire...it is a Sting sword...my fav I have.

This is another sword I have...a roman type sword.

This is a piece of scrimshaw I have done many years ago.It is made by polishing a smoothe piece of bone or ivory.(this is actually a rib bone from some ribs I got from a local BBQ joint..lol)then after smoothing it out I scratch in a picture and fill in the scratches with ink.Sailors from years back used to do this as a way to pass time on the high seas.Often from whale ivory or bone.

This is a design I made of a celtic Knot.Similar to a celtic design in the Book of Kells.I added a few things to it and it is original...scanned from my own drawing.

And finally...this is a page right out of my sketchbook.Just some sketches I made of some cats and a lion.
I hope this helps everyone kind of know a little more about me.I have many layers...hehheheh...and one is horny LOL.

Many of my friends know I go to Rennaissance Festivals.The Texas Renn Fest is an amazing event.65 acres of boothes filled with food,song,books,jewelry,swords,daggers,paintings,boots,cloaks,hats,renn wear,cd's,steins. As well as many booths with craftsmen of all kinds.Demonstrating for all the rennies their crafts of broom making,sword making,blacksmithing,candle making,glass blowing,coin minting,printing,lapidary.Then of course all the stages that have shows that reveal the talents of many people.From music,to comedy,to magic,to dramatic shows of all kinds.
The beauty of the renn fest is such a beautiful place where people of all ages and backgrounds can come togeather and enjoy everything that the fest can provide.I have seen an old man of 80 standing next to and enjoying the company of a punk rocker with spiked hair of about 20.The love of all things funa dn beautious abounds.Damn I can't wait to go this year!!!!!
