I love to walk on a morning I walked 8 miles this morning ..... when I walk I go into a dreamlike state and just let my mind drift and daydream. Not too many dirty daydreams though, I don't want the embarrassment of a bulge in my jeans if I have erotic thoughts especially about some of my NN friends .... I'll save that for the privacy of my room lol

Not the same if I jog though - I have to concentrate, too many dangers, like predatory cross country girls and the dangers of tripping over amorous liaising lesbians (see previous blogs) .... and jogging hurts more, I just can't wait to get home!

Broke a tooth yesterday eating stir fried chicken breast with a hidden boney surprise - ouch ..... its a premolar so its sore when I chew .... dentist next week - oh what fun

From the start of the year I decided to go for a run 3 times a week. Its been going ok till this morning. I was jogging on a path through the woods when I was suddenly joined by about 50 girls who appeared from a adjoining path on a school cross country run! Now if I was sensible I would have stopped and let them run away into the distance before starting again, but my stupid male ego kicked in! I decided to speed up and try to put some distance between me and them .... big mistake!

I managed to keep a short distance ahead but it was the longest 10 minutes of my life till there was an exit from the path and I could escape my agony lol! I could hear giggling behind me all the way - I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I spent 5 minutes lying on an old tree truck recovering.

I'm not taking that route again and if it happens again I'm turning and running the other way. You live and learn ...... ouch!

Have a good day - I'm going to have a lie down

One of the wonders of this site is that its New Year every hour somewhere in the NN world for the next day or so depending on your location and time zone. So its a good excuse to celebrate it a few times with a drink or two

I've got a little gym in my garage and my cousin and her mate have been coming there a couple of times a week for a while to get into shape for a holiday in January. I've been showing them how to do various exercises.

I was demonstrating tricep pushdowns on a pulley I've rigged up with a rope, I think I had too much weight on and the rope snapped resulting in me hitting myself between the legs with two hands with over 100 lbs of force - OUCH

As I was lying there curled up in a ball next to the snapped rope my cousin said to her mate "what should we so?" her mate replied "tie a knot in it" to which my cousin replied while laughing "don't you think a bag of frozen peas on it might be a better idea".

I'll never hear the last of this - and yes I think my voice jumped two octaves for a while

I don't know what's bruised more - my ego or my meat and two veg

As I walk my dog on a morning there is sometimes these two women/lovers/parnters in their 30s walking their dogs a few hundred yards ahead of me. I always start catching them up because every 5 minutes they stop for a cuddle and a snog.

This is not unpleasent to see (they're very attractive) but as I get closer and have to overtake them it gets a bit unnerving. I start coughing and stamping as I walk so they hear me and don't start snogging before I overtake ..... mainly because their dogs are quite vicious and I need them to see me to get them on the lead.

I nearly set my neck this morning while attracting their attention .... I was stamping so hard in the icy snow I went into a six foot skid ..... I nearly ended up in the middle of their hugging/snogging but just managed to stop myself in time ..... my poor dog sliding along behind me!

To say the women looked surprised is a understatment ...... I don't think a Ménage à trois was on their mind, especailly with the dogs around lol.

Nevermind the snow looked lovely and its nice and sunny and not too cold

I can't believe it December - nearly Christmas again, I swear this year has only lasted 3 months!

I'm sure somethings messing with the SpaceTime Continuum - maybe that new partical accelerator in Switzerland or somebody in a blue police box ..... something fishy is certainly going on!

Also somebody switched the sun off in the UK two years ago and the sky has sprung a constant leak ....... anybody good at metaphysical DIY?

Anyway enjoy your day everybody but don't blink or it'll be tomorrow or next year even

EDIT:

I shouldn't have mentioned the sky leaking and metaphysical - I just went for a walk and got drenched for the second Monday in a row - somebody up there must have read my blog and sent rain, sleet and snow just to prove a point ...... not funny .. brrrrrr!

I just took the dog for a walk. A nice, cold but dry day then 20 minutes into the walk I spot a lovely rainbow above me - all seemed good in the world.

Two minutes later .... a hail storm hits ... pinging off me and the dog, the size of small marbles straight in our faces

.... ouch! A twenty minute walk back home in this awful weather - both of us drenched and soggy - no more rainbow and no pot of gold to be seen

Got a nice pot of tea now though - glad to be home

My mother had a fall going to the hairdressers - had to take her to the hospital for an ECG to make sure her heart was ok - was fine thank god .... dropped her off at home and she jams her thumb in the car door - blood everywhere! - I thought I was going to have to take her back to the hospital but I think its just badly bruised so just bandaged it up! No wonder her favourite programme is Casualty!!! I think I'll need a siren for my car soon

I'm trying to work out when I became the parent lol.

Roll on tomorrow !!!

Was then time for a jog
