Friday, September 11, 2009, 2:27:29 PM- TODAY 9/11
Where were you on that faithful day?

Some of us who are old enough remember where we were when JFK was killed.

When Martin Luther King was killed.

When Elvis died.

Where was I when 3,000 fellow Americans were killed?

Measuring to sell carpet to a red neck beerjoint. They had the TV's on and until I said something, they did not realize what was going on.

I left and went back to the office where we spent the rest of the day, asking "WHY"?

How in the name of God do you kill people?

Where were you, and your thoughts.

May God bless all those who perished, first responders and the families affected.

"I had a friend who's in here (i think he's still here) from canada. i was getting me some coffee and he was sitting on the sofa and we sat and watched it in tears, together. i think it bonded us in a sad way. after that, all the airports planes were down and he couldn't get home (his wife wasn't too happy) he had to sleep in the airport to standby for a plane. i felt ill at what happened here and what we would think of the most about the one time we finally got to meet. it was surreal and sickening and so sad."

Friday, August 7, 2009, 6:24:12 PM- Be civil
I know people are excited about being on vacation. (holiday)

But, please bring your civility with you!

It's not the checkout person's fault that prices are higher here than back home. (do you always buy crab legs and shrimp back in podunkville?)

Yep, our liquor is higher priced than most places, (it's the Bible belt, dummie)

What part of check-in time is 3 pm., don't you understand?
More so, what part of the latest check out time is 11 am., don't you understand?

The people at the FRONT desk have to call your lazy ass if you haven't checked out by 11. And if you don't answer the phone, you are going to get a visit from a pissed off security person cause they had to leave their coffee and doughnuts to come kick your ass out.

The people at the front desk don't clean the units! So stop calling them every 10 minutes to see if your unit is clean! If you get there before 3 and it's not ready, LEAVE! Go somewhere and get out of the fucking lobby. If it's after 3 and your unit is not ready you can thank the lazy fucker who didn't get out on time. Do not insult the front desk person that your unit isn't ready. They have a tendency to overlook that it is ready when it is ready just to piss you off more. Want a refund, call the number you made the reservation with, not the front desk person. Their not authorized to give a refund. And good luck with getting a refund. lol

Do NOT take the whole car full to the grocery store. Geezz, remember people LIVE here. We're not on vacation and it's our fucking grocery store year round! And don't ask me where anything is in the store, cause I'll give you the wrong directions if there is a car full with you. By your self or maybe one other, I'll give you the right directions. If your a 10, I'll take you to it!

Yep, I've had enough of uncivil, boorish, rude tourist.

Hell, I'm ready for the snowbirds, NOT!

Rant over, at ease!
