You and me both! For food cravings I usually just have a small portion of whatever I am craving. The more I deny myself what I want the more I want it! Which is what happened last week and I went on a candy bender hahah. You should check out sparkpeople.com, even if you don't join to track food and fitness you can still read the articles and forums which give tips on nutrition, food, excersize, cravings... every thing health related! The support there from other members is really nice too :)

food cravings? eat a small amount but drink a glass of water at the same time. for workouts i do mma and stuff so i dont think that can help you out unless you want to physically hurt others but try group workouts at hospitals and stuff

Losing is tough-especially getting to my age. I have used Lose it! to good success. It helps track calories and recommends calorie intake based on your weight/height and amount of weight you want to lose. I dropped nearly 30 lbs just keeping to their recommendations. Different things work for different folks, though. Of the things I tried, that seemed to work best for me. Take it for what it's worth.

lot's of carrots, fresh fruits and grains. Try to stay away from the fruit juices. I know this sounds weird, but look at the diets that Diabetics use. You may not be a diabetic, but it uses the same premise of really good diets without starving yourself. It is a well balances nutritional way to eat.

I am diabetic, the food cravings just seemed to dissappear over night.. But i have been known to treat myself a few times a year.
