If only the world had more regard for Mother Nature. We disrespect her at our peril. She's beautiful, smart,and dangerous when crossed. Yet every new day she gives us opportunities like this to stop, look and reflect.

This image speaks to me at a deeper level because what I'm seeing is the inevitable strength of life appearing where death seemed irreversible. The forest is so haunting in the background, yet so alive in front of me as it awakens. Soon, it will be so green again...

We've had many disastrous bushfires in Australia. Leaving absolute devastation, blackened trees, burnt earth. But even the people whose possessions have been destroyed and lives changed in the most horrific way, are moved to joyous tears when Nature, as she always does, produces the first green shoots of regeneration, and soon afterwards, wild flowers.

It is the inevitable 'nature will always take over' in a way or another. The deeper level of connection, often is fractions of seconds. An euphoria, a bliss that needs to be caught as it happens to be valued.
