So what exactly happened to your harddrive? The info is still on there...I have a friend that is a super computer genious who has retrieved info off of smashed and froze hard drives. I think what usually is the problem is the motor. And I think he takes out the plates and puts it in a new case...not sure but thats what Im guessing...I will ask him about the process and see what he does and maybe he can do it for you or tell you how to
