I hate it when I chat with somebody for a couple of days and then they ghost on me and start ignoring me, that's just plain rude
It's the nature of the xxxxx, and being 1 step removed via a keyboard it makes it easier to just stop any contact, once one understands this, then one gets used to it.

Looking at kids in the local town, they are all glued to their phones, I wonder how many could hold a real conversation to a real person, face to face, without thinking in terms of txt speak...like...

It's gotten so prevalent that folks are amazed I don't carry my phone everywhere I go. I don't need the thing 24/7.

Unless I am away for the night, my phone stays on my desk at home, I just am not glued to it, it's a tool to be used when needed, IE call my ma....

I always look up from my phone when using a zebra crossing, I can't flip the bird or shout at the idiot drivers and cyclists that don't stop for me crossing.
