Finally we got some really nice weather so I headed for the local nudist resort. Got there early in the morning, found a nice parking spot near the olympic sized pool and hung out there. Today was a beautiful day of about 85 F (30 C). There were lots of naked people about. Today was this "progressive lunch" where one host would have the appitizer, another the salad, a third the main course which was chicken, they had like 140 kilos of chicken.......there was plenty to eat, and one last host for the desert.......hmmmm strawberry shortcake. I like these gathering cause it is a good way to meet some of the folks that dont normally hang around the pool or clubhouse. It turned out to be a very good day. The WNBR was this last weekend, I did not attend 'cause I thought it was a lil cold for being naked outside. Also you never know who's watching. I work in the public sector and have many customers (that's one reason why I never post my face). Low and behold I see one of my customers ( a female) who went to watch the riders go by. So I am glad I did not participate in the ride this year, that would have opened up a can of worms.

Recently a mississippi blues trail marker was placed in Chicago, Illinois to acknowledge the Chicago roots to the blues. There are only two markers outside of Mississippi. This weekend is the 25th annual blues festival which I attended on friday. I had a fantastic time whether it is just one performer playing accoustic slide guitar or a full band with several guitars. Refecting back on one of my all time fav chicago blues legends, I leave you with Muddy Waters "manish boy"

I am enjoying my aNNiversary

A couple wakes up in the middle of the night to the doorbell. Husband gets up and answers the door. There was a man at the door, he asks " hey buddy can you help me, I need a push". The husbands replies " no sorry buddy, it's 3;30 in the morning" and shuts the door. The husband returns to bed, the wife asks "who was it". The husband replies "some goofball needed a push, I said no". The wife says "wait honey, remember when we were stuck in the snowbank and the good samaritan helped us out, that man needs us. go help him". The husband says "alight honey" gets dressed and heads outside. Once outside the husband does not see the man anywhere. The husband yells out "Hey buddy are you still here. the man yells back "yeah I am over here on your swingset, I need a PUSH"
