The news has just come out that Casey will not be going in the next 3 Moto GP races as he is recovering from and illness. This is not like Casey he kept riding with a broken scaffold. He has been riding with this illness for the last few races managing to get a 3rd and a 4th.

Now after the last race where he made a very silly tire decision (went with wet when the rest of the field did not). I know that Nicky has said this was his fault but Casey could have said no. It was a very silly risk to take when he is coming 3rd and still had a slight chance to win the season. It was an ok risk for Nicky to come as he has no chance of winning the season and this risk may have got him one win or podium for the season.

I think Casey is upset with his team manager for not calling him in to change tires in the last race. Although Ducati blame Nicky and Casey for the bad decision the team manager should have called them in to change tires (bikes) by the at least the 7th lap when it did not rain and there tires where getting torn up. I think he was trying to teach the boys a lesson for over ruling him on the tire decision but he could have been a man and said we can still fix this if we bring them in now and change tires (bikes).

Valentino crashed and then limped in to the pits with a broke bike then change bikes and still manages to come 4th and lap Casey and Nicky. So they would not have lost too much time in changing tires (bikes). Everyone else who changed tires managed to do better then Casey and Nicky.

There is no mention of last weekend’s race on Casey website where as there is on Nicky’s he got to meet Prince Harry (bet Casey did as well) Nicky is American why would he really care. It should have been a bigger deal for Aussi Casey even though most of us do not really care they are still do rule Aus.

I think Casey if upset about the race and decide not to go in the next 3 races due to that not the illness. So this way he goes in the race before Phillip Island (Aus) and then the two races after that. I guess it is good for me as I am going to the last 3 races so will get to se him ride but I think it is bad sportsmanship’s. In fact I am going to were a Nicky t shirt in the Ducati tent at Phillip Island (Aus) just to show Casey what I think of this decision. Oh and I love Nicky t shirt’s and his number 69. have a look at his website they are great.
