| Friday, July 8, 2011, 1:42:11 AM- Reunion Weekend | ||||||
This weekend is the big family reunion. Been a tradition since 1984. We get together in a small town on the edge of the Ozarks on the Current river. This year I am camping with the kids and hubby is staying home. The Jello shots are made, tents and coolers are packed. This get together used to have 75 - 80 people show up from as far away as California and Florida. Sadly though there have been so many pass away or not able to travel because of health problems in the last few years. This weekend though we will make a toast to family that have gone before us and that will continue along after us. Have fun this weekend NN friends. I know I will. | ||||||

We are really looking forward to a 3 day weekend. I need a break from work. Hubby did buy a small pool this week off Craigslist and got it put up today. It will be a place to get wet for me and the little one. BBQ's and foreworks are also on order for the weekend. Have a happy 4th of July and remember what has made this country great. In the last 4 days alot has happened. 1. My son re-enlisted with the National Guard. (he already has 12 years of service done) 2. Went to a grandsons 5th bday party 3. Had a baby shower for grandbaby #11 that is due this summer 4. My son got engaged. Next weekend I want quiet time and sex. | ||||||
