It's a "bank holiday" here in the UK so just chilling out and enjoying not being in work for a change. Well the weather here seems to have perked up a bit today which always makes me feel cheery! Saying that the McBoobs are mostly being lazy today. Am blogging a quick one (ooh er missus) whilst Mr McB's mum is up at the shops. We have had a great time and taken lots of new pics which I will post soon (when she has left the country... or at least got to the airport!). We are taking her to the airport tomorrow when she starts her long journey back home to the US. It's been lovely to see her but we are looking forward to having our own space again - it's weird living with other people when you are used to being pretty much on your own! We are on our last night away and have had a fantastic time travelling around with a visitor in tow (Mr McB's mother). She has been blown away by the scenery and it's been a pleasure to treat her a bit. She lives a simple life, in a small town, and I think relishes the change, as well as time to spend with us. We are all "castled out" and as full of food as can be... it's been great! This trip she has taken to see us makes me realise how nice it is to share time and experiences with others. It's great to see their pleasure sometimes and it's almost more enjoyable than your own. Anyway I am getting deep so off to the room, with some drinks, for some hot sex lol!!! Haven't been about much as have been stupidly busy at work unfortunately. When I get home, I have just enough energy to cuddle Mr McB and watch a bit of TV before I go to bed lol. Sad huh! It probably goes on til June too as that is when my major project of the year happens. What's happened over the last month... I've been all healthy and lost a bit of weight (but have a long way to go). Exercise is a marvellous thing! Had my hair chopped shorter. Lost a couple of good people from our lives unfortunately but we've come to terms with that. Got addicted to Facebook and discovered lots of people I forgot even existed!
