It always amazes me how catastrophies bring people closer together. I did not have to evacuate thankfully, but I was just right outside the evacuation zone. Which means a lot of smoke came my way. For three days I was kind of stressed, no work which is nice, but worrying about my house being set ablaze did not make it an enjoyable "vacation". Anyway, Thursday the business I work for re-opened. That for some reason made me feel that everything returned back to normal. If its safe enough to go to work, its safe enough to do anything. So I played racquetball for the first time in a week, making me really sore today, but a good kind of sore. |
