OK, I’ve been sick with the flu. What pisses me off is that I had a flu shot in October. Now granted, I know they say it does not prevent the flu but if you do get it, the symptoms will be less severe. My comment to that...bullshit! Between the aches and the fever, it basically feels like I have the flu just as anyone who did not have the shot. I had 100.6 temperatures this morning, its horrible. One minute I’m freezing, and then 30 minutes later, I’m a bucket of sweat. I'm hoping these symptoms will not last very long, we'll see.

This is so much fun. Hope everyone is doing better than I am today. I’m gonna chug back some Nyquil and go to bed.

mdguy	15-Jan-08 18:57:42 I got the flu one year I got the shot, and I felt like shit, but I always wonder how much worse it would have been. For me it lasted only four days... the after-effects only about a week after. I hope you'll feel better, and rest up!

just_looking123	15-Jan-08 19:16:29 flu shots only cover one or two average, current viruses. If you caught another one, the shots are worthless. That's why I never go and get them. Feel better soon :)

flcamfan	15-Jan-08 19:50:48 Oh man! The flu sucks!!! Get plenty of rest and fluids! Next time, at the first sign of it go to the doc and get some Tamiflu! That stuff is magic, but only works in the first 24 hrs of symptoms! Get well!
