The first three words I saw were 1-gratitude, 2-purpose, 3-family.

Friday, May 12, 2023, 11:49:09 AM- Our Kitty outside in the sun yesterday afternoon. He is going to be 14 years old.
Don't be fooled by his ''what-ever, uman'' face, he was loving every minute. Usually he stays inside. Around these parts, if you let your cat live outdoors, chances are he won't have a long life. Pets tend to disappear in the forest. Plus, it's freezing out here half of the year. I was supervising him yesterday, he was sniffing plants, rolling around in the grass and munching on it, chasing bugs, lying on hot concrete surfaces. Then he just plopped down and I took this pic. I think he was experiencing sensory overload.

Monday, May 1, 2023, 11:50:16 PM- rhubarb today
Not the prettiest pic but it is what it is. Been raining pretty hard here lately. Our rhubarb is only around 5 inches high at this point, tops. Maybe we could plant some more this year if we find some.

Saturday, April 29, 2023, 8:20:56 PM- peonies
I planted some peonies a few years ago in the back yard, and they are sprouting out of the ground right now. A ground that was frozen solid for almost five months. Glad to see they have survived another winter. Nature never ceases to amaze me. When these are in bloom, several weeks from now, I will post a pic of them.

Sunday, April 9, 2023, 11:15:52 PM- First Flowers of Spring
At the very end of our yard, where the forest begins, Daisy took a pic today, Easter Sunday, of these tiny and lovely crocus flowers. We still have snow on the ground in areas, and it will be a while still before leaves come out on trees and other flowers follow suite, but these are so beautiful and delicate, yet very hardy. On one of the photos we can see clearly that a hungry critter has been munching on the greens. Might very well be our chonky little (Easter) bunny. Does nature not have the ability to stir deep emotions in you?

Friday, March 24, 2023, 10:32:58 PM- The Magician
Here is another recent photo of my friend, the same doggy from a few months ago. He is not yet 1 year old. But here he is, posing like a debonair movie star. No matter what is going through my mind, I find it impossible to not smile in his presence, and play with him, as his energy and personality are so focused on pleasing others, and being loved, that he simply uplifts, anytime, wherever he is. Am sharing in the hopes that he will make you smile, too.
