So, as many of you know, I have been looking for a place for a little while now and just a few days ago we were approved for an apartment. What almost none of you know is that we were dangerously close to being royally fucked. If we had not found a place, we would have been staying in a hotel for christmas..or worse. And, I have to admit, I was very close to just giving up. It seemed as though no matter how hard I pushed, where all I looked, we were met with nothing but locked doors. Even today, after I thought everything was secured, we very nearly lost out because some of my paperwork was taking a while to make it's way back.

But, no matter. That is what happens sometimes. The important part is that the things we needed to go right DID go right. There have been so many things, things that have been nothing more than chance, that have added up to make things work out. I mean, hell, what are the odds that the woman who was processing our application would have known my great grandmother, a woman who has been dead for years and knew very few people in this city? I am completely sure that their friendship played a big part in us actually getting the place. You see, another friend of mine had applied for the same apartments days before we did, and when I asked how long it would take to find out about our application I was always told it would be 24-48 hours, at least. Then, after I turned the application in, I found out 5 hours later that we had been approved. I found out before my friend who had submitted days before!! (She did get an apartment, too. I was very worried that she wouldn't, and I would have felt horrible if we did and she did not.)

Anyways, that is the story of that

But, done to the actual point of this. I probably wont be on much for a while. We don't have the internet set up at the new place, and unfortunately it is not at the top of our to do list. I will miss you guys, and I WILL be back. I'm just not sure how long.


I hope that everyone has a good holiday, and that everyone is able to enjoy a much needed break. *hugs* And, I will see you all as soon as I can.

Okay, I love both of these videos. They are both by ChesterSee on youtube. He is an amazing singer, a hugely talented actor, and he is sexy as fuck. Now, I have noticed that the more videos in a blog post, the less that are actually watched. But, trust me, these are both just wonderful

The first is called The Alienist. It is about a man who has been sentenced to death, and he is being evaluated to see if he is mentally stable enough for them to justify being able to put him to death. It's just...damn. Trust me, watch it through to the end.

And, the second video is a song. He is covering Rumor Has It by Adele. He does a wonderful job on it, and puts a twist on the song. I love when people who are covering a song change it to fit them. They make it fit their gender and their purpose while still maintaining the original song.


As a side note, guys are always asking what is sexy. ^^That up there...that is sexy as fuck. Clean cut, dressed nice, just enough stubble. And swagger. Confidence. That little wink, the smirk. That all adds up to something that, I think, most women would agree is incredibly sexy.
