I enjoy reading profiles. When I see someone I find interesting it is nice to know a little more than just a physical appearance. So I thought I would take a little time to fill mine out. I'm single, live alone and am at a really nice place in my life. I'm very happy and secure; not looking for a relationship but also wouldn't turn down an attractive offer. I have a great job and have reached the point where I can take some time for the things I want to do. I like being outside. I love beaches and mountains. I like to visit places that are significant, either to history or nature. I like to learn something everyday and try to leave things better than I found them. I have reached a point in my life where I can honestly say that what is inside is more important than what is outside. I hate selfies posted by "someone else", empty and fake profiles, xxxxxxxxxxxx or pics that clearly don't fit the profile. I prefer smart, educated, well spoken and independent girls. I don't really have a "type" but prefer realistic, healthy bodies and find myself drawn to girls in my age group. Feel free to leave a post or send a pm.

How many of us can stand around the water cooler next week bullshitting with coworkers and declare "Well, I needed to help pay to fuel up the helicopter this weekend."? Now I am able to say just that! But here's the deal. For the last week, there have been about a hundred privately owned helicopters flying as many hours as possible transporting emergency supplies into the NC mountains and bringing people in critical need back out. The fuel bills are running between thirty and forty thousand dollars per day. And those hours are going to start adding up into some hefty maintenance bills. So this Go Fund Me page is set up to accept donations to help. There will be a lot more need for help in the weeks to come. Right now this is something worth supporting. https://www.gofundme.com/f/fuel-helicopters-to-save-nc-mountain-communities

As everyone probably already knows, wildfires in the Texas Panhandle and surrounding states have burnt more than a million acres in the last few days. This is the heart of cattle country and many ranchers are in the middle of calving season. Thousands of animals have been killed by the fire and many more injured. Those cattle that have survived have no grass. Hay lots and feed supplies have burnt. Many ranchers have no way to pump water from wells. Literally everything is needed from hay, feed, water troughs, milk replacer . . . even equipment to feed the cattle and to bury those that have been lost. Here are some links. Tax deductible donations can help obtain and transport the things that are needed. Please do what you can. Hurricane Ian recently had a devastating impact on Florida's farmers. The storm pretty much hit the heart of the state's citrus and cattle farms. Here is a link to the Florida Cattlemen's Association Foundation if anyone wants to help. https://fca.memberclicks.net/hurricane-ian-emergency-info
