I bought Hubbs a new tv today,46 inch Sony Bravia hd. On sale, a coupon, and reward dollars towards it so after quite a few weeks of researching today was the day!

Awesome Hubbs changed around the living room furniture, I put together the new entertainment center. Of course Hubbs hooked up all the wires. All I could say was WOW when he turned it on, I can't wait to watch porn! lol

Wanting to give Little Man the old corner unit for his room we went to lift the heavy ass tv Hubbs asked if I had it I said yes we lifted and then I quickly said no no no my arm started to shake and my lower back hurt and i tried to put my end back on the unit WHAM it just missed my friggin foot wtf HUGE gouge mark in my hardwood floor. We both kept our cool and said well that's one way of getting the tv on the floor. Oh my poor floor!

BUt damn what a beautiful tv!! Hubbs is going to have to wait til Father's Day for his blue ray player! lol

Little Man kicked ass at the talent show! Thanks so much for all the good vibes sent his way!!He was nervous a little and heard a snicker or two as he sauntered across the stage with shades on but once his Guitar was in his hand he rocked out! All the kids erupted when he went into walk this way. Little Man said he loved the feeling of the crowd! When I picked him up quite a few of the faculty came up to me telling me how good Little Man plays. Some were even in awe blown away they were.The way they were describing it to me made me feel like I missed out even more so by not being able to see him "perform" lol.Some of the kids walked out of school singing Walk this way! lmao Even on Friday the school was still talking about it.

One of his Teachers has been trying to convince us to make it back to Boston so he can attend an arts school in 6th grade, u only get in from auditions and good grades and now she is all over it more so than before. This was her first time hearing him play not just talking about playing. ( we've had indepth talks previously with her regarding it) She can't believe he hasn't had any lessons it's all just form playing with his Dad!

I'm glad it wasn't a contest it was all for fun. They did all receive certificates with their names on it which is cool. My Little Rock star in the making! So proud of him I am!

He had a sleep over last night, Mom& Dad's night was a bit lame and now it's time to make omelettes for them. Whats wrong with a bowl of cereal?? lmao

for my Little Man,today is the talent show.Hubby just drove him to school.He looks so freakin cool, a pair of Levis, a black band t shirt from his 2nd concert, with his black unbuttoned shirt over it and his shades walking out the door carrying his guitar case and amp wawa peddle in his backpack! lol

He's been practicing like crazy. He came up with his own compilation of 3 of his top songs.He will start though with a couple of his own riffs then go into Fortune Faded by Red Hot Chili Peppers,Iron Man by Black Sabbath and closes out with Aerosmith Run DMC walk this way! I think he is going to rock out, surprise the hell out of them. He feels a little funny playing at school. They are all about the rap & hiphop. Little Man surprisingly has a very eclectic mix of music that he likes and listens to he even trys to beat box but when it comes to playing his Gibson Sg Little Man is all about the rocking out!

Funny he was so cute as a toddler with his 1st acoustic guitar he was around 2. When he was 4 he got a Fender acoustic and would strum Jack Johnson songs next to Daddy playing.It came so easy to him, music flows from him just like his Dad! I love watching the old videos of them jamming together! Then one day when he was 6 he asked for an electric. He has played almost every day and now has a GibsonSG. Little Man and Dad rock out together alot!

So the show is starting in 15 minutes and there are 42 kids entered,oh did I mention we can't go. It's only for the school.I do agree there isn't enough room for all if u allow the entire school to watch but if your child is entered in the show You should be able to attend.pffftt

Funny I have butterflies for him and yet Little Man was so cool this morning! Hubbs just came back from dropping him off. He said all the girls were checking him out with his shades on and his hair flowing in the wind,Little Man looking so hip...

3 minutes til showtime. Little Man is #14 to go on. I think I have to go to the school for something, I'll find some excuse lol what would work? Man this sucks not being able to see him on stage playing solo for the first time but when they have their school musicals they insist on our attendance lol wtf school sucks sometimes! lol

Carnival rides are dangerous! Were they always that way? I remember days of fun fun fun endless rides hoping to get the bracelet for unlimited rides. At the end of the day the only thing hurting was my belly from all the greasy foods and whipping round and round upside down til sometimes ya puked! Ewww lol I don't recall getting hurt. Although there is always the freak accident but for the most part you don't get hurt from going on the ride...

Yes you go on the rides at your own risk and there are height requirements but is that enough? Are these rides meant for kids and teens just because they are tall enough? I'm looking at it differently now. I feel like the worlds worst Mom. I took Little Man to a carnival yesterday. The first ride he chose to go was a freaky looking thing called the Remix. He was so sure about that being his first ride, which I always go on the rides with him but I bowed out on this one! Now I wish I insisted he did also.

Where was my Mom intuition telling me not to let him on that flipping ride but no all I was thinking was what harm could it do besides scare the absolute shit out of him.

Wtf Little Man gets off the ride walking towards me looking scared & green and then relief as he got closer to me (awe lol). I thought I saw something red on his neck but then he said oh look at this game!Want to play I ask. Oh mom I don't feel so good and my neck stings. He turns his neck omg I freak but stay cool. He has a 4 or 5 inch long mark on his neck looking like its about to bleed. A friction burn. Guest services was right across from us surprisingly. I ask for their first aid kit and tell them to check the ride. They gave me a wet wipe. Keep ya cool is all I'm thinking I dint want to get Little Man all worked up. He always thinks he has to go to the hospital and it freaks him out. Anyways they finally bring me the right stuff but the whole time they are insisting it's not from their ride and what is a friction burn. Dumb asses. Just give me your antibacterial wipes and ointment and guaze geeez no time to argue let me assess waht is wrong with my Son.

The operator of the ride came over and he was pretty cool. We came to the conclusion it was from the padding on the bars that come over your head to lock you in that caused the burn mark on his neck. The G force of the ride kept him leaning against it on one side due to his lack of weight for his frame, instead of being seated in the middle of it.

His neck is so sore today. I feel terrible. Of course I let him stay home from school but didn't tell him til it was almost time to go. He was being such a trooper making the attempt but I know he wouldn't have made it thru the day. I even gave in and put his hair in a pony, it keeps brushing against the burn irritating it. (I don't like his hair like that, we look too much alike when his hair is in a pony and mine is pulled up too! lmfao)
I know Little Man is in pain he took Childrens Motrin with out a sqabble. Poor thing.

Oh ya Little Man did score a pass for all rides but he was not impressed at all. After playing a few games, and me embarassing him as the game guys are trying to con me out of money I got them by saying look at his neck that happened on that ride. HAhahha a free game an extra dart an extra throw on the court! lol We went thru the fun house and super slide but that was about it. I left with tickets we had purchased before Little Man got the pass.

I had gone in to place an order, we had spent the whole afternoon at the pool party ate drank and ate some more but once we got close to home we figured get soemthing quick but no drive thru they always mess up the order. Well thats the last time I had my card and I left there so aggravated,27 minutes I waited for a bucket of chicken and for them to refill their soda machine! Now IM going crazy looking for my card its nowhere. Omg I hope I didnt leave it at kfc!! it's too early they aren't open yet to call them.
