Putting Your Affairs In Order...


A woman went to her doctor.
The doctor, after an examination, sighed and said, "I've some bad news.
You have cancer, and you'd best put your affairs in order."

The woman was shocked, but managed to
compose herself and walk into the waiting room where her daughter had been
waiting.

"Well daughter, we women celebrate when things are good, and we celebrate
when things don't go so well.

In this case, things aren't well. I have cancer.
Let's head to the club and have a martini."

After 3 or 4 martinis, the two were feeling a little less somber.
There were some laughs and more martinis.
They were eventually approached by some of the woman's old friends, who
were
curious as to what the two were celebrating.

The woman told her friends they were drinking to her impending end.

"I've been diagnosed with AIDS."

The friends were aghast and gave the woman their condolences.

After the friends left, the woman's daughter leaned over and whispered,

"Momma, I thought you said you were dying of cancer, and you just told your
friends you were dying of AIDS."
The woman said, "I don't want any of those bitches sleeping with your
father
after I'm gone."

Heading out again to look at furniture in a bit just waiting on Hubbs to come back from a haircut. I'm about to give in and just buy any dresser and bureau as long as they match. We can't seem to see eye to eye on it. Not so much the style but the quality and price we can't seem to agree on.Cheap shit out there. My bedroom is a tad small( we gave larger bedroom to Little Man)Therefore I had to stay a queen size and not upgrade to a king and it changes the style I had intended on. I'm really liking the sleigh bed. The style is sleek and curvy.

I'm really getting impatient with this and it's very easy for me to bitch at Hubby about it.And that's not cool. He's been busting his ass working. I'm glad he has time off this week. The OT is wiping him out and my attitudes I'm sure aren't helping.

OMG Hubbs just called. This is too fucking funny.But before I tell the story I have to back up a bit... The other day while shopping for Halloween Costumes my Little Man sees a leg its from the knee to the foot with a pants the foot is barefoot bruised and bloody. He asked if we can get it to hang it out the trunk as a decoration. It's hideous it looks rather real hanging out of the trunk. That night stopped at a red light I'm in the car by myself and the guy in the lane next to me is frantic to get my attention. He steps out of his car with cellphone in hand and states to me that I'm not going anywhere! Excuse me whats the problem? He says you have a body in the car don't go anywhere when the light turns green. wtf lol I burst out laughing saying omg that is a Halloween decoration its a fake leg! Don'T you joke with me I'm calling the police! Sir it's fake you can touch it I say as I step out of the car. Surprisingly no one beeped behind us when the light turned green!lol The guy walked around and hesitantly squeezed the foot. He was so pissed yelling at me telling me that was a thoughtless and cruel thing to do. All I could think to say was Sir its trick or treat, Halloween time, time to get spooked.I was laughing so hard when I called Hubbs to tell him that he thought i was crying! lol

Yesterday at school all the kids crowded around the leg they thought it was cool but one parent didn't. oh well! Then at the gas station the attendant came up and said you scare me Miss..Is there a problem do you need help? lol This leg is causing a commotion! lmao But the best one was Hubbs just called to tell me as he walking in the barbershop he heard a frantic scream he turned around to look and there was a woman clutching her chest screaming crossing the street behind our car, she started running. I guess the foot scared her! hahahhahha lmfao Hubby was cracking up laughing.

2 mornings in a row it scared the hell even outta me as I walked in the driveway it makes ya think someone is hiding behind the car getting ready to jump out at you! I think I should put another decoration with the bloody leg or take it out! I'll try and take a pic of it when Hubbbs gets home.
Wonder what other reactions we'll get driving around today while shopping! lol

Gotta get ready, the painter should be here soon to paint front and back porches...

Furniture shopping was not fun at all. Lots of cheaply made bedroom sets and they were charging $1500. pffttt I'm still looking! lol It's driving Hubbs crazy! lmao Don't get me wrong I've seen a lot of nice sets until I open the drawers or look at the frame of the bed. Cheaply made period! I'm about to just buy a couple of bureaus and say fuck it. In time when I see a set then I'll get it. My closets are full and some clothes still in boxes omg wtf. im gonna laugh my ass off if I end up getting a couple of bureaus from Target or walmart for the time being.

ON another note babysitting my Neice was fun She wakes up so happy the little angel who's favorite word is NO and she has to say it NO nooo NO Noooo. It felt weird though not sleeping in my bed and having Hubby to snuggle up to. My Sis in Law is having a blast this weekend in Florida. Her friends surprised her with tix to game 6 tonight! MY Brother is so jealous! lol

Yesterday we got a scary phone call from our Best Friend he was so sick he needed us to take him to the ER.Im glad he knew better to call us. He could hardly walk he was so weak nvm drive himself. Food poisining, that sucks big time. He looks a bit better today but man it sure did a job on him. We are going over to his house tonight for the first fire of the season and to watch RedSox game and a bit of boxing. Making smores in the fireplace yumm!

OK back to looking for the hardrive for the xbox 360. We got the red ring of death so had to send the system out to get fixed. Upon doing so ya have to remove the hardrive. Well where the hell is it?? Xbox got delivered yesterday Hubbs hooks it up him and Little Man get a game out and then they ask me where the harddrive is. Are you kidding me. We looked for it til 10:45 pm tore everything apart. I so hope it's not in an unmarked box in the basement that would suck ass! ONe more look around the house before I start opening boxes...

Just called asking if I can sleep over tonight. Huh?? He surprised his wife with a long weekend to Florida to see her friends for her birthday, the flight leaves at 5:30 am. They have to leave the house at 4. Something came up that my Mom couldn't make it(she is ok) so my Bro called me.That would be crazy waking my Niece that early for the long ride to the airport!

Clothes are ready, and lunch is made for Little Man all Hubbs has to do is make breakfast in the morning!
Time to go I'm bringing my laptop. I wonder if my Bro has wi-fi

Hubby is teasing saying he knows where I'm really going to spend the night....

Oh I needed that sooo bad last night.To think it started from a text message...then a knock on the door...heheh It seemed never ending, woke up exhausted and dehydrated but somehow oh so refreshed!Hubby and SMooth were close to wearing me out hahha I said close I didnt say they did! They are always amazed at how much I want, I can't seem to stop myself when having both of them....

So much going on today , the day is going to fly by. Little Man has school pics today, he looked so handsome and cool! He bought a corduroy blazer with his birthday money and couldn't wait to wear it for Picture Day! He said if any of his school friends say anything about it he's going to tell them they have no sense of style and stop wearing your Underoos! LMFAO

We are having our driveway redone today so now it will fit 4 cars and enough room for a basketball hoop(woohooo).The driveway wasnt even a driveway anymore it was in pieces more dirt than there was gravel. Also having a walkway put in half way around the house,the price was right considering we already had stones up against the house so half the job was already done. As Hubbs and the guy were talking he said what can ya do for the front it's all grass from the street to the stairs.(omg how did the previous owner shovel) That's going to look so nice out front now! I'm going to plant flowers on each side of the walkway this weekend! We haven't attempted any yard work as of yet besides mowing the lawn. lol

I'm off to get paint I still haven't painted the living room (I changed my mind on the color after buying it dohhhh) and I need paint for my bedroom. I wasn't in a rush for my room because I only had my bed in there but my new bedroom set is coming next week! woohoo I'm thinking of painting one wall a deep red but then what color for the other 3 walls hmmmm
