In answering Dawnt's blog the other day I confessed I had never eaten lamb. Confession time....I've never eaten.....pheasant. That changes tomorrow! My friend Dave just called and said they got their limit. Sat. Evening we all eat pheasant. I'll save you a chunk. Happy weekend all!

I visited an abandoned boathouse the other day. It has not been used since 1916. I was trying to take a spooky sort of picture. Well...it's not really spooky. But the space was...freaky.

Friday, October 13, 2006, 7:10:00 PM- fowl foul just pissy
i think a blog should reflect all the experiences you are having. I'm just pissed. I feel like I keep trying and striving to step out of my comfort zone and I get knocked down. I'd been working on a peice of property for my new business. It was comming up for auction. It wasn't ideal, but I could afford it. I brought every zero my checkbook could handle and still got shot out of the water. It just made me feel empty. I wanted to go and eat everything in sight. And then I wanted to just spend every penny of this amount I've hoarded. For years now, new shoes?? no way...have to save, A new truck?....laugh. Keeping the thermostat at 60?? put on another blanket. And for what? I am not a quitter. Right now I am not a quitter. I am not a quitter.

Sunday, October 8, 2006, 3:47:37 AM- I lived
How this poor town swells from 611 to 60,000 is beyond me! They do it well and a good time was had by all. Much wallet emptying ensued.

Saturday, October 7, 2006, 1:21:17 PM- Cross your fingers for me!
I'm going forth to battle the throngs. About an hours drive is the wonderful Bayfield apple festival. With 60,000 people packed into a cute village it's a little much. If you go keep an eye out for me. I'll be the tall gay boy with a large breasted girl at my side. (VB...you wouldn't see me at all!) I'll take some pictures.
