Seriously ... this sculpture was submitted and accepted as the one they wanted to use?? This is the 2010 Army National Guard Combatives Championships third-place trophy for wrestling. Just saying......

Well this isn't the best picture. But this is the only one I was able to get today and I promised I would put one up today. This big guy was quite aways off basking in the sunlight of a beautiful Texas afternoon. But I was able to see him a bit. I WILL get better pics later this week

This I seen today. Beautiful sun moth. First one I seen like this,and i barely seen him too LOL

This is a cotton field . I was amazed when I seen how beautifully green and lush it was now!

This is an area of forest that was burned quite badly last year. You may have heard the reports of the fires in Texas at the time. Well this is one of the places I go to regularly and this is how it looks one year later.

This was a picture of a bumble bee. And some purty flowers

I seen this yesterday. Wheather you believe in them or not this is called a fairy circle. Still a great thing to see kind of rare.

And lastly.... a picture of cows!!! For someone who really loves cows

Raining today in the great state of Texas!

I'm going to do this one Texas style! And one of the many things Texas is known for is Texas B-B-Q! So a little txn bbq is on order today


And everyone knows how sweet I am ....no really I am .... really...as sweet as honey dripping from a nipple


Also I heard that milk baths were great for the skin.... some of my skin has been getting hard ...

This is the pile of wood(several pieces of cherry and 1 piece of walnut) BEFORE I started to work on them and make them into the bookstand(see previous blog) Thought everyone might like to see a before and after.

This here is my latest project in my shop. It is another book stand. This one is made of cherry and walnut. Turned pieces of cherry with a walnut live edge shelf. The stand adjusts by a ratchet system on the back. Thanks for looking
