heidi_anne_jone's blog post - Safe and sound and Family matters

Here where i am is so close to all the flooding that has happened here in Germany, while i am safe in this exact area, others have not been so lucky just a few KM down the road and my heart goes out to all those there.

For me I noticed a change also in some people, I work as a cleaner and i visit a few homes during the week, I have done this job full time since last October, and in the lockdown i found it good because while we were allowed only one visitor at a time it was normally myself being only visitor for most those i clean for, so socially it was good for them and good for me as i love being around people.

The last few days however is strange for me, several have told me that visit is postponed as they have family visiting, so a disaster happens and suddenly family remember their grandfather or father, I just thought it a strange thing that for months no one visits but disaster brings visitors. Is it a good or bad thing I am not one to say but at least it brings some families together.

On a brighter note things are slightly better this week for me and hope everyone out there is having a nicer week.
