jake5270's blog post - Cooooooold!

Well, It's gone from minus 12 to 6 above yesterday to 21 today. My car wouldn't start Monday or tuesday (ice in the gas line). Didn't work monday... the buses weren't running and I couldn't get a cab. Yesterday I rode the bus to work. You can't beat a ride from my house downtown, free transfer to another bus that dropped me off a block from my workplace... all for 50 cents! If the busses here ran late, I wouldn't drive my car Monday through Friday. I've suggested this more than once to the bus company. All they'd need at night would be some security on board. No changes yet... think I'll suggest it again. MUCH cheaper than driving!

Anyway, I caught a ride home from the supervisor. In a little while I'm going to try to start my car again. Keep your fingers crossed! lol If not today, it should start tomorrow or Friday for sure... it's supposed to be 40 degrees by then. Trust me, I'll be putting some gas-line anti-freeze in my tank soon!
