Muhammed Ali is 72 and Susanna Hoffs (The Bangles) is 55 today. Each affected my life in my younger years. As a kid, Ali was the greatest boxer I'd ever seen... and what a showman! lol My Dad always thought Rocky Marciano could have taken him though. He thought Joe Louis was the best. I suppose every generation has their favorite. A little boxing trivia: My Dad said that even though Marciano had a devistating left hook, "Jersey Joe" Walcott was the hardest puncher ever... he used to knock out cows for the press! Susanna Hoffs was damn sexy, and I fantasized about her as I was ending my marriage. Saw her picture at 55 today... STILL hot! Happy Birthday to both. Rather than show Ali highlights, I'll just put up a Bangles song for all to enjoy. Peace! ~ |
