23 days ago, I bought a brand new computer. I have been pleased with it, even through the experience of getting used to it.

The only drawback I had was trying to find an adapter for my hdmi port, which is how I connect my computer to my t.v. In the past, I've had Dell computers and they all required an adapter to pug the cable from the t.v. to make everything work.

Well, 23 days later and 4 different sized adapters that didn't work later, I found I could just simply plug the cable directly into the port... no adapter needed.

One more reason I've come to like an HP computer over a Dell.

And considering myself an intelligent man, it was quite humbling to know that no matter how much you over think things, the simplest solution is usually the easiest and best way to do things.

At least everything works perfectly now... even though I'm a little red faced from the experience.

Looks like a trip to the service station and McDonald's is in order.

God, I loved that show. The first four seasons were hilarious, but when Richard Coyle (who was extremely funny as Jeff) left before the fifth season, I knew the show was doomed. The quality went down hill.


In it's prime, the show was MUCH funnier than 'Friends' could ever hope to be.

I have a mini vacation going on: 4 consecutive days off from work.

Until the day I can retire, I'm using these days as training camp for when I don't have to go back to work.

... USPS. You took an item that should have been here in one day and stretched out the delivery an extra two days.

What kind of an idiot sends something from the town it's supposed to be in and sends it to another town 30 miles away?

And while I'm at it, I found out the reason I didn't receive my car registration in the mail is because the mail carrier wouldn't deliver it (sent it back twice!) because my apartment number wasn't on the address. C'mon, I've lived here for over 20 years. Doesn't this guy recognize my name by now???

Incompetence is running rampant.

If you get up in the middle of the night, in the dark, to use the bathroom, be very, very careful where you walk.

You should see how black and blue my little toe is after connecting with a table.
