Tuesday morning was brisk outside - 21 degrees (f) with a wind chill of 8. I was bundled up, but still that northerly breeze could be felt down to my bones. Today was better. 32 degrees with only a light wind coming from the southwest. Long range weather predicts a return to normal - highs in the 40s and lows in the 30s. Tuesday served as a reminder that winter is just around the corner. ~ | ||

I dreamed last night that I was at the counter inside a Wendy's and ordered a large order of french fries. When the order arrived, I didn't have enough change to pay for it. As I awoke, I wondered which was worse - the embarrassment of not having enough money or ordering Wendy's fries when I prefer McDonald's. ~ | ||

I received a rather odd personal message from someone today. I was accused of leaving nasty comments under their and one other's pictures. And I was called shallow. If saying someone looks beautiful, then I am guilty. In all my years on NN I have never once left any kind of mean or nasty comment for anyone. I only believe in leaving positive comments. If I don't like how someone looks, I keep it to myself. I checked, believe me. It wasn't me. I'm not the only person on NN to have their user name start with Jake. Perhaps they bitched at the wrong one? ~ | ||

Thanksgiving is over. Today is black Friday. Will I be out shopping? Yes, but not for Christmas deals. I will be shopping at the grocery instead. I have found, after several years of research, that grocery stores are fairly empty on Black Friday. At least for one day I can avoid the crowds. ~ | ||
