It did for me. At 8:40pm PST we had an earthquake! Magnitude 4.2, with several smaller aftershocks. It was centered 1 mile NE of Lafayette (CA). It wasn't huge, but big enough to shake the house pretty good and freak out the cats, make the ceiling fans rock and sway and get our son nervous. He had gone to bed 10 minutes prior.
