It is soooo pretty outside right now, the weather is finally warming up - Summer is coming!!! I am so happy. I get so grumpy from Winter and cold weather. I must have been a reptile in a past life; I need the warmth and sun to function. This weekend was really nice, got a lot done and my husband did a lot of work in both front and back yards. Both yards really went to shit all Winter and we hadn't done anything with the front yard until we got the broken water pipes for the drip lines fixed. Now that is (finally) fixed so time to plan my plantings and decide what we want to do with the garden in back.

Whatever we do in the front yard has to be pretty, hardy and drought resistant, but hardy is the key. I have a total 'black thumb' and am death to plants and flowers. It bums me out because I really love plants, they just don't love me. I have gotten books on plant and flower care and I still manage to ruin them so if I can choose some plantings that are strong and require minimal care from me, they should thrive. The less I touch them, the better! LOL. I really envy people who have a knack with plants. Gonna go look at some plant books now, enjoy the day everyone.
