kittykats1's blog post - update

I blogged earlier today about my best friend's brother and she just called me. She made it home for a little while and despite being exhausted, is calling everyone with an update. Her brother made it thru the surgery, but his heart stopped twice and he was brought back each time. He will remain in ICU until further notice as he is far from stable and the docs are having a hard time keeping his body temp up and blood pressure is far too low. The next hours will be critical, and they give him a 60/40 chance of survival as he is terribly weak. I am pulling for him and was thrilled to hear that depite a rough time, he survived the surgery. This was good news and I hope the trend will continue. Hope is a good thing, and I will keep hoping.
