It feels like I am in the eye of a hurricane.

A lot of bad juju going on with various friends and relatives, it's like an epidemic!! I am afraid to open an IM or answer the phone. I am afraid it will be more bad news. I can't fix any of it, either; just have to sit helplessly on the sidelines and watch it all implode. Why is this happening? And to so many around me? I just want everything and everyone to be ok.
