Halloween is coming soon and I can't wait. I put out my indoor deco stuff last Friday and had the husband bring out the boxes of the outdoor stuff so I could go thru it and see what I needed to get for this year.

The plan is for the graveyard in the front yard with all these votives with candles placed near the headstones to give a very eerie look. My best friend is making some big spider egg sacs to hang from the porch as well. I got some really sinister looking fake ravens that will be perched on the banister and I want to paint some silk roses black with floral paint and put them in the pots that are on the stairwell. Add those things to the usual spooky stuff I put up and it is going to look fantastic. We used to do more of the cute-sy, harvest-y type stuff when our son was much younger but now that he is getting older the themes are getting spookier.

I am so in the mood for it, I can't wait! I now have the total urge to go bake some pumpkin bread and banana bread. The house smells so good when I bake pumpkin bread...mmmmmm
