kittykats1's blog post - coming down to the wire....

The clock is tic-tic-ticking. Christmas is around the corner and I still have so much to do. I just wish I had the energy for it.

My period started yesterday (no wonder I was in a shite mood) and last night I had some monster cramps. They woke me up no less! Nothing like being asleep and then being jolted awake by pain and being doubled over and crying. Some days being a girl really really sucks. You guys have no idea how easy you have it. I get so tired this time of the month but I have to get my ass in gear, too much to do. Gonna have to play thru the pain so to speak.

On tap today: Lunch at 12 with my best friend, she needs me right now as she is having a terrible time. Tons of family & health problems, poor girl. Then I need to get picture frames, some more stocking stuff and return the paints I got at Michael's last night. I got the wrong paints for the ornaments my son is making his grandparents as gifts. Also need to get 2 gift cards to Barnes & Noble for our neighbor's sons. My son is going to be spending the day with my mother-in-law who very graciously offered to babysit him today - for that I am extremely grateful, it will let me get a lot accomplished today.

After I get all that done and hubby gets home from work we are going to go out and finish up the shopping for our son, just the two of us. Maybe have a little dinner and some time alone. Even if it is being spent in the mall with 50,000 other nutso shoppers, it will be nice to be with him. I am feeling particularly sad and clingy right now and I want him close to me.

Wish me luck in my travels and adventures in shopping today, I think I am gonna need it. Tensions are running high in the malls and stores, let me be friendly and positive and not put my foot up anyones ass today lol.
