Well we did get a lot accomplished last night shopping-wise, but not all. I had hoped to be done with it but you know how it is; best laid plans, yadda yadda yadda.

Santa-hubby did get me an early x-mass present - a pair of rather tarty shoes, black and gold, 4" heel and very strappy. Utterly impractical but strangely comfy. They will go puurrfectly with this little black satin dress with gold brocade accents I picked up. Thank you Santa-hubby lol!!

Speaking of hubby, he and our son are out shopping and I have been wrapping presents and working on my second batch of caramel corn. I will need to jump in the shower soon as I have a pedicure appointment at 3pm and will have to go to the craft store and the grocery afterwards. One of us needs to be home at all times as I am on 'kitten watch.' One of my girls is due this week, possibly Christmas Eve or even Christmas, but it may be earlier or later. She has started to 'drop' so it will be kitten time again soon. There is a possibility I may miss Christmas dinner if she decides to go, but that is ok. Her safety and the health of her babies is the most important thing, and this is her first litter so she will be stressed and need me with her. So New Year - new babies, hopefully my latest show prospect for 2008-2009.
