i feel that you forgot to add just a little something in ur rules in regards to promoting tolerance and respect for your fellow inhabitants on this planet - human, animal, plant alike - and that our pursuit to never give up on our dreams does not come at a cost to the rest of the planet.
Dont trust ur instincts - u dont practise them daily any more(its no longer a finely tuned tool for ur survival) - they are now the result of over indulgence, self protectionism, entitlement, greed and "individualism over and above all others.
Just to contribute to your thoughts - u might want to add an 11 rule - sexual activities between consenting humans are to be enjoyed - its a perfect rule and can be practiced with no impingement on others and usually creates true self worth and happiness! just remember to dispose of toys and tissues responsibly, lol - thoughts? and... if everyone never pushed through on a thought or an action that felt "wrong" mankind would still be thinking the world is flat, that a god requires a virgin to be killed so as to bring about good crops and penicillin (a mistake in a petri jar) would never have been invented - wrong things are only wrong if it destroys the rights of others - "wrong" actions primarily turn into useful pathways for other humans to follow or become the gateway for pushing our abilities to invent, create and contribute - ofcourse there are many many wrong wrongs that do not result in mankind learning...but that usually comes with "dont be a people pleaser" philosophy - think Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Du Pont, Exon, the Japanese scientific whaling, genocidal rulers, apartheid governance, unprepared travellors, home renovators without a clue, relying on the withdrawal method for contraception (even silly mistakes are wrongs - u dont make silly mistakes?) so rules are always fluid if it benefits the rule maker (rigid for the followers), needs tm be enforced and subsquently punished if not followed - to make us more "manageable" - rules...written down and enforced by middle class white males or male leaders in any culture - usually to protect their own interests for as long as possible - maybe a better description of your 10 rules should be titled "My Core Beliefs" - they are urs, can be shared/discussed but would never be used to squash other's folks Core Beliefs - i will shut up now, lol (have a thing against rules being promoted as a good thing when usually they have always caused harm to others - enforcement of rules and subsequent punishment is never based on whats just and fair...but it marrys well with fear, cruelty, inequalities and inhuman treatments/corporal punishments and a break down in "communities" - individuals are easier to deal with if the rules conquer and separate human bonds)
can i say something about staying a way from drama and negativity ...... tell him he's dreaming!!!! lol
