Just flew back from Portland and boy is my weener..... Portland is my new favorite American city! It ranks up there with some of my fav euro cities...i.e. Copenhagen and Amsterdam. Dense urban development, people out walking, biking and skateboarding 24-7. Cafes, bars, resturants everywhere. That city must have a per capita cafe ratio of nearly 1 to 1! Lots of really cool neighborhoods. And the people were to a person, the friendliest I've ever met. All of this and at very affordable prices for a tourista. Anybody live there who wants to support an aspiring gigilo? |
