Today, 09 November 2013, marks the 24th Anniversary of the Fall Of The Berlin Wall symbolizing the end of the Cold War. Most of us here remember that day, but meant a little more to me as my parents were in West Germany on that day. My dad serving on active duty with the U.S. Army on his last assignment before he retired. If that wasn't enough, but when the East Germans started building the Berlin Wall, not only were my parents there, but also my older brother and myself(both of us being born in West Germany). I turned 6 months old a mere two days before construction started, so I jokingly say that I was the reason the wall went up(the East Germans wanted me to stay out).  ~ | ||||||
