This is quite a good night. Just got done working out with Mrs.Body and my son, I love it when my son works out with us!!!!! We did legs tonight, the first time since the tear last week, it felt really weak, but it felt good to move and stretch things a bit. Getting a lil blood in it actually made it feel pretty good Anyway I digress, Now I sit here perving a bit, watching Mrs.Body read her new novel. The boy is down stairs in his room. The smell of dinner wafting in the air, I'm starving. VEEBS and She Bop both blogged about food, not helping any. It's nice and quiet, and it's only 9:00. I remember when I used to just be leaving to go out at 9:00, SHIT I must be getting old. I just don't care *grins*

Anybody that wanted a white Christmas should'a been here this morning. It's been snowing since I got up this morning,HARD. We're sittin around waiting for breakfast to bake. The kids are chomping at the bit to open their presents. Mrs.Body(God I love that woman)is running around trying to dry her hair, put on her make-up and help her mom get breakfast ready. She spent all last night cleaning the house(I've got people coming over) "Honey the house is fine" just doesn't cut it. It's just us and her parents,which to me is just wonderful. I do miss when I was growing up, in my Grandmothers house, she was the cornerstone of the family. We had a house full every year. The cleanup afterwards was horrendous though. I do like the closeness of this smaller get together, but I miss the lotta people too. I really do love this day, It';s the leading up to it that sucks!!!

But I'm taking tomorrow off, thats right I said it, I'M TAKING TOMORROW OFF FOR NO GOOD REASON OTHER THAN BECAUSE I SAID SO *grins* What the hell, it's Christmas eve and I'm tried of watching Mrs.Body get all these days off while I'm out working. That'll be my Christmas pressie to myself, I get an extra long weekend(I hope that means extra sex too)

Today just sucks!!!! I guess it started last night. I tore my Vastus Medialis muscle in my leg squatting last night, it F*kn hurts!!!! This getting older is becoming very hard for me to accept and deal with. No I'm not "old." However I'm not a kid anymore either, and when I'm in the gym I have a problem with that. I wasn't doing anything stupid or even going that heavy. I squatted and it popped. It felt like someone stuck a knife in and separated the muscle. Consequently I didn't sleep very well last night. Mrs.Body says I screamed several times in the night, I don't remember it.

So I get up tired and cranky, limping, stairs very hard to navigate, I get ready for work, go out and start my truck. Theres a rustling noise under the hood. I unlatch the hood, tilt it up and find one of my belt tensioners is coming apart and shredding the serpentine belt. AAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I, now, bad leg and all, have to climb up this behemoth and take everything apart and drive 40 miles to my nearest International dealer to buy the parts and lose a whole day off work!!!!

I do look at it this way however, It could be worse, I heard the noise this morning, BEFORE I left. It didn't break last night while driving home, AND It's supposed to snow TOMORROW, and it's in the 50's here today so it's not so bad working outside. I think the good Lord is still looking after me, He just likes to tease me now and again

P.S. Fuck it, I'm takin the rest of the day off and goin Christmas shoppin for Mrs.Body!!! Anybody want anything whilst I'm out??

It snowed all night here in Denver last night. I woke to about a foot, maybe less, of snow on the ground. I don't mind looking at it first thing in the morning, but like a grandparent who loves babysitting, because in the end they get to give the child back, I'd like to ba able to change the channel and get back to the warmth. Oh well, My morning gets disrupted when it's like this. No sex;( with Mrs.Body this morning. She had to get up early to make it to church on time. I didn't get to go to breakfast, or workout ;( I had to get the snow-blower outta the storage shed and start pushing snow around my driveway and side walks. Why does something so beautiful to look at, have to be so miseable to deal with?? Just finished clearing things and now I'll watch a little football and watch Mrs.Body decorate the X-mas tree.

Mrs.Body works for a very large company. She also gets paid vacation every year, while me as a business owner, there's no such thing as a "paid" vacation. I haven't taken a week off in, well as long as I can remember. She has a week she has to use before the end of the year or she loses it. WWWAAAAHHHHHH!!! Consequently, She took Thursday and Friday off last week, Friday off this week and who knows what next week, YES, the point of all this is I'm jealous!!!! Damn good thing I love that woman as much as I do. I NEED A VACATION;( I need to go someplace warm.

It's Friday, so I should be, and think I am, happy as a pig in shit. Yet, it's cold and rainy and supposed to snow, I hate all those things, but it's Friday?? My son just introduced me to *the* funniest ventriloquist I have ever seen. I watched this guy and laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes. This guys impressive. I love to be entertained, be it a movie or a speaker, or in this case a comediene. I wasted my entire day today on watching his dvd on my computer when I was supposed to be working. On a lighter note, I've come to the conclusion, and I think you'll all agree. 5 is the new 10. I've noticed quite a few blogs about the horid voting system, myself included, what with all the down-voters here. This is my conclusion. If you're hovering around a 5 or 6 then you are damn good. Wait lemme explain. If you get equal #'s of 10's and 1's that will put you right around a 5. The real voters that like your pics will give you the high marks, while the jealous and insecure haters will all give you the low marks to even things out. Obviously if your not doing well enough to piss someone off and make them wish they were you, how good a job are you really doing In conclusion a 5 or 6 means everything is perfect!!!!
