So...last Wed., I met my 5th NN'er. Not the one I mentioned in the previous blog, but one that I've talked to occasionally for 2 yrs. (And yes, Dan knows.) Anyway, he had a meeting south of me but was flying in and out of one of the airports near me. His meeting was over an hr. earlier than expected, but I picked him up soon after. He was taller and cuter than his pics. And thankfully, I had stopped posting pics on NN when he started reading my blog. I think he's never posted pics here. I took him to the beach and we hung out at a couple beach cafes and had beers and lunch. I thought he'd enjoy watching all the girls walk by in bikinis. He hardly noticed because we were so engrossed in our deep conversations. His flight was at 7 so I drove him back to the airport at 5:45. We talked for another 30 min. and said goodbye. I talked to him the next day. If you're reading this, K, it was great to finally meet and talk. Have fun in NYC.  I will be there Mon. and Tues., too, but won't be able to get together for lunch like you suggested. ps. Please forgive my typos, I'm rushing to go out with friends. | ||||||

To all who have PM'ed me: Thank you all so much for your well wishes. Things couldn't be better... well, except that for some reason, lizards and tiny, long-legged frogs can somehow get into our house. The lizards are albino gekos and they creep me out to NO END. Ughhh! I don't mind the frogs - they're sooo cute. Have a great weekend! I know I will.  Update: Something someone just PM'ed me helped me figure out at least WHY the frogs and lizards have been coming into the house. It's likely because of all the rain we've been getting. | ||||||
