Tonight is the night.....I have my new pillows (feather ones! mmmmmm)...my new quilt....new bed sheets and I have put it all together!!

I have just spent the morning sorting out clothes that we don't wear any more, then ran down to the charity shop with 5 black bags full of stuff!! OMG, and I could probably do the same again and we would still have tonnes left. How can we possibly own so much stuff and still have nothing to wear, lol??

Spoke to ex-hubby last night, he is taking the kids to a halloween party with his family on Saturday night and was trying to get me to go too. Luckily, I have a friend staying over so I can't go.......It's not the halloween party - it's the fact that it is his stuck-up sister who is hosting it. I get on really well with both his sisters to be honest, but one is really down to earth and easy to get on with and the other one....well you know!

I am gonna go have a peek at some pics and read some blogs before I have to get ready for work....Have a good day!!

Okay, now I am really quite freaked out!! I was sitting at my comp before I went through to make dinner. My eldest is next door helping our elderly neighbour make her dinner and my youngest is in the bedroom tidying up.

Now, I know none of them have gone into the living room!! So....when I walk back into the living room........WHYYYYYYYYYYY........is there a pile of mail sitting on my desk - actually on top of the keyboard I was using 10 minutes ago???

This really is kinda freaking me out now.....I ain't sleeping tonight until every light in this house is turned on!!

I know this is going to be a really fast week, which really has nothing to do with this week but everything to do with next week....I am working 7 days next week, including two 12 hour shifts - and I ain't looking forward to it at all!!

It has been soooo cold today, it even snowed in some parts of Scotland today, although we didn't get any - it isn't far away. There was a real feel of winter today - I wish I could hibernate for the winter, find myself a cave, get real cosy and sleep right through the whole ordeal.

On the happy side, the kids went back to school today so life was a bit less stressful today.

I kinda half spoke to my dad about letting my eldest move in with them when she turns 16. I have already spoke to my mum and she understands where we are coming from but has left the final decision to my dad!! The thing is, I don't have the room to give them a room each (which they really, really need) and she has been considering moving in with her dad (he has a spare room), but that really would be a bad move for her - since he is alcoholic, violent and generally totally unstable and not responsible enough to look after a goldfish!!

My dad didn't seem to keen on taking on a 16 y/o again but I'm sure we can talk him round!!

Horse riding always makes me smile.....but sometimes it makes me REALLY 'smile'

Tonight I am really smiling!!

I had a youtube night last night, looking at old kids tv programmes I used to watch. It was good fun, but I did get a good giggle at a couple of them. I can't believe some of the stuff they got away with showing....lol.!! The Rainbow ones were definately the funniest.

Today, I have been sitting with my eldest listening to a good mixture of her music and mine. We have been to all extremes of a lot of music styles, lol, but now I need some fresh air....

You see, I always thought that children had to answer to their parents......So why, have I just spent the last 10 minutes answering to my kids.

"No, I won't be late and yes I will be careful"

lmao....I'm gonna be a rebel and wander in 30 minutes late and say

"Whatever!!"

I know the obvious reason why....(because it's all connected) but I want another reason why!!

Why is it that 2 minutes after putting in my eye drops I can taste them, and.....Why do they have do taste so damnnnnnn nasty???

I bought a new quilt for my bed, which has been left in its wrapping for the moment. My daughter has just asked me why I am not using it yet.......

I have just finished explaining to her, that I am waiting on the new pillows I have ordered being delivered. But also, the new satin bed set....OMG I really can't wait for the night when I have the whole lot of it here......

There really isn't any feeling close, to the the amazing, almost 'orgasmic' feeling of getting into a freshly made bed!! I am just looking to heighten that experience with a fresh, new, never slept in bed..... ))

I just fell outa the shower!! I still have shampoo in my hair but I am not going back in there. I was starting to rinse the shampoo out and I turned around to face the shower to was some bubbles off my face....OMFG!!!!!! I was sharing a shower with another monster spider, lol - thats the point where I fell out and scrambeled outa the door making sure to shut it behind me!!

The kitchen is gonna have to do to rinse my hair off!!
